I enjoy traditional Japanese artwork. I love the simplicity and the depth in the pictures along with the rich colors. The Great Wave Off Kanagawa Is my favorite. The Edo period was a renassaince of Japanese culture. The richness of the art seen here was not seen since the Heian period.Great video Oborogin san!
Great video, Oborogin! I like Hokusai, but my favorite artist from 19th century Japan is
大蘇 芳年. I also really like the art of 空山基, though he is a contemporary Illustrator.
