Yea I don't even fly mine anymore cuz I'm tired of my radio gear just crapping out and costing me tons of money. For what it would cost to upgrade my radio gear, I might as well get a new heli.
The only wire coming off the receiver board is the antenna, and I don't think that's the problem. It is highly possible that the soldering may have come loose on the back of the crystal's slot, but I can't really tell.
them blades look cool did you paint them. nice flying looks like something messed up with the heli in mid air

Thanks, yea I did paint them. I used a black permanent marker for the top stripe pattern and a red one for the bottom

Looks like your tail rotor crapped out. It piro'ed like crazy before it went down though the main motor pitch sounded the same.

Nope. It was definitely the receiver. I got a new one and I haven't had that problem since

i have a axe cpv3 and a axe cp helimax needs to put better electronics in the helis

check all the wires on the eboard. I had to solder mine several times. A loose connection could be the cause.
