I feel that it is indeed a sad thing when we limit ourselves in any aspect of life. Variety is the spice of life and i dont mean to say that blk women should just be out here having causal sex with many different men just for the hell of it. If you open yourself up to be respected and give respect in return, you can have what u want in a relationship with any man of any racial background. Black women, even educated sistas place too much emphasis on sex and that is their Achilles heel. If Black women stopped having so much premarital sex and waited until a man was a potential husband, the bitterness, single mothering, HIV and getting strung along would decrease.

Yes single means not married. it does not make BM look bad really. The American culture oppresses maturity for all people, but when you couple that with the black culture, black guys are really discouraged from becoming men. It is viewed as being white...and the black culture ridicules trying to be white.
The reason that first generation people do so well in this country (80% of new millionaires) is that they aren't hampered by maturity-oppression. Ditto for Asian-Americans who avoid US culture. But the Asians that embrace the culture have many more problems

A Black man will see a Black woman w/kids and automatically assume she is someone's "baby momma" but see a white woman w/kids and feel that she is taking good care of those kids and woking a 12-hr-day to support them. I posted on my recent audio upload of an article I did back in January, where I made one of the same points that you are, that having degrees and nice job doesn't make you someone worth marrying. Especially not to a guy looking at a female since generally a woman's money is not an issue in choosing who we want to be with.
Your last point was invalid on the stats, because Asian and Arab women in America are hardly involved in arranged marriages, nowhere near half; especially not Oriental Asians

He admiited openly that she is a good woman; the best, but he had his issues as to why he couldnt get himself together&why he was cheating on her. Now, this isnt to say that women dont do the exact same thing to a good man because there are some no good women out there who are just as guilty. But I dont think that all a person has to be is "good" just to get a man.

True, some are unrealistic when it comes to certain standards, but nonetheless, everyone has preferences and being "good" isnt always going to make the cut. There seems to be a plethora of blk men who are going on and on about why they dont want to be with blk wm and to me, i dont see a need for blk wm to just sit back and not have the chance at happiness.

I recommend that blk women seriously open up their options to being with men outside their race because there are a lot of blk men who are doing exactly that. For this reason, there will be a lot less blk womem having the opportunity of marrying a blk man who she has things in common with. What i cant understand is why do blacks feel they have to stick with other blacks simply for that reason alone. Its not logical. Blk women, you need to test the waters and see whats out there.

@Liliworld627 problem is, sisters were saying that when the internet got started. fact is, they can 'open up' their options, but those 'options' have to open up THEIR minds to date black women. by and large, they don't.
and though there are about 3 times as many black men who marry IR, the vast majority, 90%, marry black women.
so, black women testing the waters matters not when 97% of white men want white women, another 2.4% want asian women; and non black/non white men go white in IRs

@neoconsnightmare3 speaking only for myself, ive never had a problem with dating outside my race. I dont allow what this person or that person or stats to tell me who I can or cant find love and happiness with. If there are changes to be made to have a successful partnership, then so be it, but the possibilities are out there for blk wm. What other options are there for the blkwm who cant get what they want in a good blk man? What other solutions are there for them? To wait? And for how long?

@Liliworld627 your questions are rhetorical. if its just 'getting with a man of another color' anyone can do that. if its serious long term relationships, like marriage, most white men simply dont even CONSIDER black women. they dont consider asian women. they ONLY consider white women (97%) to marry. another 2.4% will marry asian. only 0.6% will marry black women.
if a blacvk woman cant get what she wants in a black man, its HER issue, not black men's issue. good women can get good men.

relationships for 'good' people (good to the opposite sex, not self proclaimed 'good') have to be mature and realize that relationships are HARD WORK, and all about TIMING. you can't speed it up.

You can only speak for yourself sir just like the rest of us, but in the end, there is the possibility of blk wm having stability in a relationship with someone outside of her race. Men are men and women are women in my eyes and what can be done in one racial pool can be done in another. Im a lady here speaking for ladies. when people date, since the sexual revolution, it can mean 'serious dating leading to long term relationship' or it can mean 'hit and quit'. thats why the stats alwasy talk about MARRIAGE numbers.

i agree... people are trying to continue to pit black women and black men against each other.. Also i agree that people can have all those quliaties that they always dont work out. The key to all of this is People need to put God or whoever is there religious figure is to be put first in decision of being with someone. God is going give you the desire of your heart so just wait on that.. I am ok with those women waiting.. but i am not ok with ABC making it seem like a bad thing that they are

What is more depressing to me is how black women are swearing undying fealty to black men while black men date out in greater numbers than black women do.
I think interracial dating/marriage would increase black women's pool of mates. Sticking to black men while they date all kinds of women is rather foolish.
Lots of women are unmarried for reasons only they can disclose. I don't believe in rushing something marriage.

i don't mean to be poking at you, i only mean to explain a phenomenon. perhaps your conversation with someone on youtube was deleted was because all of the comments you left took up several pages worth of space and the owner of the video wanted everyone to see everyone else's comments which were forced backward to page 50 because someone is usurping all the space? ps- historically speaking, arranged marriages fair MUCH better than ours.
