I really want to be positive about ucomping season but just the injuries will worry me. If all goes well and everyone is healthy, I think Blake, Gordon and Baron can lead this team..
@clippers4me I feel you, my hopes is with EG emerging as one of the leagues dynamic scorers and we can finally see what Blake and EG on the court could be like the team can compete night and and night out. Hopefully our young squad can hold up on the offensive end and that leave Baron to be mainly a playmaker and he doesnt we dont need to depend on him trying to grab 20 points a night.

I continued to watch him in college and the NBA. The truth is this kid can score and he's not surrounded with enough talent to completely blossom. Davis is great for him but Kaman is a ball hog. Give him say a player who is a good enough scorer to attract attention, but knows how to pass the ball. Maybe Dirk Nowitzi?

Next year the Clippers will take off, they will get a healthy Blake Griffin, a big time free agent, and Gordon will have two years under his belt. Gordon is already the best scorer on the Clippers. Plus Gordon plays shut down perimeter D unlike Rose. Rose is the better leader and playmaker but Gordon is going to be a 25 ppg 3 spg kind of player. He had 6 steals the other night in our comeback win. 4 in the final 9 minutes and he shut down Gilbert Arenas.
Gordon is no doubt a better defender, but comparing Gordon to Rose is very unfair, as they play totally different positions. I would take Rose as my point guard any day of the week, but I would also take Gordon as my shooting guard as well.

For sure. Al is a bigtime disappointment right now. Not sure what the hell happened. I want to like him because he's a good teammate and has potential but he simply doesn't perform to standard. Hell even EJ is slipping up the last 5 games and disappointing me. He lights people up when he's aggressive but that only happens 10 percent of the time. The guy is scared of the ball it seems lol. Oh EJ has the heart, if he didn't have heart he wouldn't have so many buckets in transition. He is just young, and teams are really paying attention to him in a half-court set. I wouldn't say he is slipping, infact in his last five games he has played very well. It was the five games before that he was slipping.
Well if you watched every single Clippers game you would see teammates are looking for him to score and he has the ball a ton but he either turns it over, shoots contested shots or passes it. He needs to be more aggressive and looking for shots. He can easily average 22-25 ppg if he focuses.
The Clippers offensive sets are not the type that you pass a player the ball and "look for teammates to score." Dunleavy is not that type of coach. As far as Gordon not being aggressive, how can you say that, when he gets into the paint and gets to the foul line as much as he is this year? He is looking to be aggressive and he is not the type of player to take contested shots, so your statement is false. He is very selective with his shot attempts from the outside and is far from a chucker.
The Clippers are 6th in the NBA in assists. They run very little isolation plays for their guards. Kaman is the only player that they run isolation plays for. If you are thinking that Gordon is going to shoot 20+ shots a night you are mistaken. This season he has yet to even attempt 20 shots in a game.

marcus camby is getting old and will be 6th man, I think so. It will be great to have camby and blake because camby will help griffin to integrate and all this stuff...
man we definatly need to take Blake and trade that bum Randolph, i know he puts up numbers but it seems to be at the expense of everyone else. Baron and EG in the backcourt is awesome with thornton, Blake and Kaman up front and the Camby man coming off the bench
Kamans out the door. Randolph is excellent, he just needs to be motivated ( like having a good team around him, hint hint we have a post season lineup with BG). He led in points and rebounds through the entire season for us. Kaman is playing sloppy and his injuries are costing. He's gone to Dallas, from what i hear for Brandon Bass and/or a late pick.

We can trade Camby too he's valuable and he has an expirering contract
I don't agree with it, but it's pretty much a done deal that Kaman is gone and Zbo stays. The only question now is if we can manage to negotiate a good price for Kaman.
It's more than likely. The only other rumor going on is Kaman to Dallas. (Dallas wants to, like chicago, fill the one spot theyre weak in. Dallas wants to beef up to make it an attractive option for J Kidd to return) Dallas would probably also have to give up an antoine wright or gerald green, and they would get an expiring ricky davis or something. but either way, the two front runners are Dallas and Chicago.
from what i understand, their main piece is the 1st round draft pick and expiring contracts. However it is also well known that Dallas wouldnt mind moving Josh Howard, so you may see that factor in. How awesome would that be.
hes a good guy/a team player. If anything, his main issue is his proneness to injury. But he's a great scorer, blocker, rebounder. He'd be a hell of a pickup.
Def trade away Randolph! Get rid of that guy and pick up an extra wing player or combo guard for when someone gets injured (i mean come on, we all know it will happen). If they get rid of Randolph, I realllllllly like this squad to make a little noise this year. The only reason we have Z-Bo is bc all the injuries last year, Dunleavy needed a big man. There is no way he could predict that we would get the #1 pick. Id rather have this problem then the alternative of having no big men.

Shout out to all my fellow Clipper fans!! I'm really looking forward toward the 09-10 NBA season! But we have a major dilemma on our hands people. What are we going to do with the lineup if we take Blake Griffin??

marcus camby is getting old and will be 6th man, I think so. It will be great to have camby and blake because camby will help griffin to integrate and all this stuff...

man we definatly need to take Blake and trade that bum Randolph, i know he puts up numbers but it seems to be at the expense of everyone else. Baron and EG in the backcourt is awesome with thornton, Blake and Kaman up front and the Camby man coming off the bench

Kamans out the door. Randolph is excellent, he just needs to be motivated ( like having a good team around him, hint hint we have a post season lineup with BG). He led in points and rebounds through the entire season for us. Kaman is playing sloppy and his injuries are costing. He's gone to Dallas, from what i hear for Brandon Bass and/or a late pick.

i think randoplh is a cancer in the locker room and is not a team player
he is only good at padding his stats
and hes way too overpaid
i think the clippers should find some way to get rid of him cuz i think he will be a bad influence on the younger guys on the team (like jordan, gordon, griffin, thornton, etc.)

I agree, i hate Z-Bo's game who cares if he gets 20/10 Blake will be able to do that in a few years anyway especially with Baron feeding him the ball. Keep Kaman, he's a defender and has proven himself a good find last year when Brand was out. Trade Randolph if we can otherwise suck it up and negotiate a buy out. We can trade Camby too he's valuable and he has an expirering contract

I don't agree with it, but it's pretty much a done deal that Kaman is gone and Zbo stays. The only question now is if we can manage to negotiate a good price for Kaman.

It's more than likely. The only other rumor going on is Kaman to Dallas. (Dallas wants to, like chicago, fill the one spot theyre weak in. Dallas wants to beef up to make it an attractive option for J Kidd to return) Dallas would probably also have to give up an antoine wright or gerald green, and they would get an expiring ricky davis or something. but either way, the two front runners are Dallas and Chicago.

from what i understand, their main piece is the 1st round draft pick and expiring contracts. However it is also well known that Dallas wouldnt mind moving Josh Howard, so you may see that factor in. How awesome would that be.

hes a good guy/a team player. If anything, his main issue is his proneness to injury. But he's a great scorer, blocker, rebounder. He'd be a hell of a pickup.

Def trade away Randolph! Get rid of that guy and pick up an extra wing player or combo guard for when someone gets injured (i mean come on, we all know it will happen). If they get rid of Randolph, I realllllllly like this squad to make a little noise this year. The only reason we have Z-Bo is bc all the injuries last year, Dunleavy needed a big man. There is no way he could predict that we would get the #1 pick. Id rather have this problem then the alternative of having no big men.
