hah i spent 20 bucks at walmart on the same brand of 6 1/2 speakers, they wouldnt blow no mater what i did, only thing that went wrong was the tweeter fried :o
@chadrcp39 Mine are still going strong, and it's been 10 months - bad pair? With me, both of the OEM speakers in my car were dead, so anything was an improvement from what I had before
I appriciate the effort in making this video. DONT use if for advise on wireing!!. However, If you do, those connectors can be crimped in place with pliers "or a like tool" for a permanent hold, as they are designed. The Dot on the speaker basket of the orig. speaker is used to show the positive wire assignment. The dot is the posative side. Good luck.
@iCANjumpHIGHER I was able to get the covers off by sliding them towards the front of the car and lifting up. If you are sitting in the back seat, pull them towards you without lifting them until it stops moving forward, them pull up.
@bjb111 I was able to put the covers back over the speakers, however, they are no longer flush with the back part of the car since the center tweeters are slightly raised up. There is no effect on the sound, however.

You should crimp the connectors to the end of the wires. the way you have it in there now isn't right
