  • how many heli's can fly together at a time? is it a 4 on 4 maximum?

  • I have one, so does a friend, wish i had the ground target, we already have epic battles of death lol.

  • will that TX work with the msr? I like the charger tx combo a lot!

  • @pieman12345678987654 I believe it will

  • PS. redo the slo-v. It is the most docile airframe ever made and maneuverable on full rates, more than the GWS Slow Stick thanks to the V-tail. It's wing loading puts clouds to shame and gives confidence to new enthusiast. It's the best teaching aid I have but the 27fm radio blows and servos are total crap. Ni-mh is archaic. The airframe is pure gold.

Version 2 Slo-V. Not combat for kids. This you will find your future market. And keep it slooooow. It's charming.

  • @Ispintechno1 i totally agree. i learned to fly with the slo-v. would still fly one today if it came with lipo compatable. and make the parachute drop module included. that is the perfect airframe for it!

  • Look up part number HBZ7357 on the Horizon website. This is the speedcontrol/receiver unit that comes in the Lipo version of the Hobby Zone Super Cub. This unit should work in the Spitfire as well. Won't with PZ planes with five wire servos (unless you replace servos). LP Super Cub is a BNF product. How to utilize Xport with a 9503?

  • @rpottsoh Gold! I'll try it and thank you. Hopefully it will kill the servo stuttery Parkinsons disease, but if not, no biggy. That's easy.

DSM2 slo-v. That's the training tool of the sky gods (half parachute, half airplane).

  • I think this product will likely be a bit juvenile for your intended market. Additionally I imagine it will be way out of the price point for toy stores.

If you really want to capture the big kids imagination, add lightweight sound modules to your existing airplanes. Brushless is quiet an needs a merlin or rotary sound that runs of the throttle channel. You'll sell them like hotcakes until the chinese copy you.

  • I see. I have wondered about this. Parkzone offers a replacement DSM2 all in one receiver to drop in to planes that normally come with 27 and 72 mhz electronics. These new units have Xport plugs, how are those utilized with my 9503? Sorry to have strayed away from the Force.

  • @rpottsoh They do?! My Slo-v definitely needs this or it will never likely fly again. Where do I find this RX?

  • doesn't silverlit already make this junk ?

  • @ossiegoldhill123 Yes it is.

  • @HorizonRCdotCom So how does one fire the gun with a 9503 bound to the copter?

  • @rpottsoh You need to use the included transmitter to make the guns fire properly. This is why there isn't a BNF Version.

  • I would much rather see a micro 3D heli being released.

  • I think its a great idea and would be fun. Having said that, $140 is too high priced for this. You can have just as much fun with 2 mCX2's and spend $80 less. I will run out and grab the UM Trojan but I think yall missed with this one.

  • Please keep the comments coming, we appreciate it. This is a new sort of idea and interesting tosee your take.

  • What's the point? They'll spin themselves after the 5 in 1 craps out after the first crash. And drop to the ground when the Lipo dies from the noob kids buying these and running it to LVC.

  • I would love to see a 10 on 10 battle

  • You guys have no idea of proper pricing.

  • that a pretty cool concept, horizon hobby has once again released a great product!

  • Wow that looks like fun.

  • $140 RTF is way overprice

  • @StewieRc Honestly people are still gonna buy it though.....

  • Could of done with these a year or so ago but not now far to many micro heli's but i suppose i could sell a few ;-)

  • so whats the total cost for 2 heli's and the ground target?

  • @95666 To damn much LOL

  • @startazz ahhah

  • I like the creativity here and it looks fun, but I'd only pay 35-45$ for something like that. lol :P Throw an air-soft gun in there and I'll get back to you guys >:D

  • @RoboTekno

No your crazy. The ECU's in these helicopters are worth $60 by themselves. $140 is totally a fair price for a RTF 5 channel combat helicopter like this. It is a hobby grade RC helicopter and a price like this is totally fair.

  • @Mogul20478 Umm. no thanks.

  • @RoboTekno I was just saying it was a fair price. "No thanks." doesn't really fit into the context of what I said. I am just saying that the mechanics involved to get these things to fly is incredible. You can buy $30 micro rc helicopters, but they will be 3 channel, and replacement parts will be nonexistent.

Hobby grade isn't for everyone, but it is totally worth it.

  • @Mogul20478 Sorry, not interested...

  • put those things on msrs that would be cool

  • I think its a fail really, in reality, you don't ever want your heli to stop flying. Awesome Idea tho.

  • You bet we're gonna tear it up! LOL
