What I am trying to get at is : I myself wouldn't be able to handle getting an animals blood on my hands and the thought that I just killed something. I know there are some people that can handle it but I have too much remorse for my own good.

One easter I got my kids four baby ducks. Daffy, Donald, (both Pekins), Pee Wee, (smallest) and Batduck, (this one was a large mallard with a mask over his eyes.) I got them because I thought their lifespan would only be two maby three years, (boy was I ever wrong on that one!). They're gone now but what great pets they were, all had distinct personalities. I saw your video and it brought back some good great family memories. Thanks!

@sasukexx they are easy look after. I have three indian runner ducks and the only things there are to do is to change water in their little pool and give them food. They require less maintenace that a dog.

Hey just asking, are they compatible with dogs? And do they make good indoor pets? I can put diapers on ducks, but can they be taught to poop outside or on newspaper? I have Rottweiler, Pit bull n golden retriever and I'm afraid a duck will hate all three of them. I cant keep them outside due to the fact that im scared of coyotes and eagles that will eat them.

Coyotes have gotten to 4 of my 6 pet cats (23/m/connecticut here). I want to get a couple new kittens so badly but I love the animals too much to bring them here where coyotes have shown their presence already :( but your ducks are adorable!! I don't know how old this video is, or how your anti-coyote fencing are coming but I hope you have found a solution and can still enjoy the company of our fine feathered friends. take care!!

They must think you are another duck. I don't think ducks communicate with humans that often, the mythbusters tried to get one to quack a while back and it didn't respond until they got a second duck in view. This one seems to be ignoring the other duck though and quacking at you.

My Duck Riley Adonis got aten by a raccon it was sooo random one morning i went to feed my ducks we couldnt find Riley I could only see Mylee And i was crying i was very upset and didnt know where he went. After school my bff came to help and find him so we put Mylee in the cage and found Rileys body behide the cage and his he had his little web feet were torn off he was pulled right threw the cage :(
