@JudgeSturdy This was recorded on a reel to reel and then put to LP for K-Arc records,you can go to the Dillards web site and it should tell you more. My Dad played music until his death in 2005, Joe Noel also passed away 5 months after my Dad. My Dad taught himself how to play banjo later in life. go to charger69jv and give him a listen. Thanks.
Where did this recording come from? Did these guys cut an album back then? This is mighty fine stuff.

@JudgeSturdy 1957 or 1958,my Dad is singing lead,when the band was first formed it was called Joe Noel and The Dixie Ramblers.
