There's some kids at my church who we think r abused they show up every service late and hungry and with cuts and bruises all over their bodies I feel bad but idk if their really abused or if its just because they live in a trailer park and they grew up tough

This is true. There's a lot of this going on and no one ever knows until it's too late. The part about the teachr not asking and the neighbors turning out the light shows that we, the public, don't pay enough attention.
