  • @aznboi1398 the 1/2 will have more weight in the head than the 3/4 so watch out for that

  • that is excatly what i re-discovered a week ago. i had (stopped completly 14 years) a huge forehand. i re-strated playing tennis recently and couldnt find that ball acceleration until last week. changing your grip like that make u use ur wrist amplification more forward : more flat hit but really effortless acceleration. many pros that play "without efffort" have some little details like that in their play. and many teachers dont even know it (hard to even call them teachers i they dont imho)

  • @AtlantisArch AHAHHA yeah, it's hard, there are some things i gloss over when I teach beginners, they can't feel it when they hit, so the impact of indept grip explanations is moot. I prefer to go by levels--i deem them beginner, adv beginner, intermediate, adv intermediate, advanced, and superstar. each level requires certain abilities. the key is to not overload their learning curve or frustrate them

  • thats exaactly how i hold mine.

  • @ShawEagle2012 OHHHH...
