RIPIT is the outer marker for runway 27 at Boston Logan. RIPIT sounds like a frogs ribbit so this controller jokes around whenever a pilot says he is near RIPIT by sounding like a frog.

I know what you mean, but there ARE actually some funny ATC guys in Europe. For example, theres a very funny guy in Schiphol twr, in Amsterdam. Check him out, there are some videos here in youtube.
