The comon rule when parking in these spots is to park closest to the right white line so the space to the left drivers door is always the biggest. And if you have passangers then the best option is either to park as centered as possible, or keep parking close to the right side if there is enough space left for the left parked car. In this case you're car front is too far away from the sidewalk and too close to the left side line..so it's 50% you're fault too.
