Wrong. The engine is built of 83% american parts. The exhaust manifold and turbine housing, and the turbo itself are the only mitsubishi parts on the motor. There isn't a single kawasaki item on the car. The engine itself is built in Mexico, and is based on the GT Cruiser motor. Next time study a little before you post.

The exhaust manifold and turbine housing were cast in one piece by Mitsubishi with a reverse rotation Mitsubishi TD04LR-16Gk turbocharger, those are the only parts of the vehicle that are mitsubishi built, and it is not uncommon for car manufacturers to use turbo assemblies from different car manufacturers or companies.

Wrong again, the world engine is a 2.4 liter motor that is produced for the CALIBER SRT-4, NOT the Neon SRT-4. The engine (A855 engine) is a DODGE engine that was adapted from the PT Cruiser (A853 engine). If YOU researched this, you'd realize that 2.4 motor is not the same as the world engine.
I don't know what you are bringing up the 3000GT for, I already know about the relationship between Dodge and Mitsubishi, leading all the way back to the Mitsu built Dodge Colt decades ago.

check the allpar website, then look up the 2.4 liter engine, it tells you right there that the Caliber SRT-4 motor is the all world motor and came after the Neon SRT-4 motor, which was made in mexico and is the same block as the midsize stratus and cirrus 2.4 and is NOT the world motor.

Wrong. The engine is built of 83% american parts. The exhaust manifold and turbine housing, and the turbo itself are the only mitsubishi parts on the motor. Therefore, you want your TQ to come as high in the band as possible so that your tires are at the highest speed possible. This reduces wheel spin, notice that both are FWD platforms, and TQ and FWD platforms dont get along from a launch. Hell, look at the bonneville salt flats, peak HP dominates and this is a situation where the car is doing a tremedous ammount of work. You can have your 4 door hopped up neon, ill take an rsx-s. You can have your 1/4th time I couldnt care less.

Dodge stopped making the SRT4 Neon because the PL platform was scheduled for replacement in 2005. Also, the SRT4 puts 230 hp to the wheels, that translates to rougly 260 crank horsepower, but lets discuss torque. The SRT4 DYNOS 245, how much does your Honda RSX put down? And yes, it is a Honda, an overpriced one, but still a Honda.

OK ill turbo a k20 and per pound of boost per cfm flowed it will absolutely leave the SRT4 for dead. Understand, the k20 will make a shitton more power at the same boost levels with the same sized turbo. Sorry your head doesnt flow, the car is a piece of fucking garbage.

HAHAH the k20 is one of the MOST RELIABLE 4's under boost PERIOD. They can handle 550whp and last for along time, dont worry. Short stroke=less stress on the rotating assembly, you are an idiot. Just shut the fuck up, please this is over. You dont know a fucking thing about ANYTHING.

1) The SRT4 is reliable, and if you are going to post silly unfounded shit, you better back it up with just what is unreliable about the vehicle. You won't though, because you can't, there isn't much of anything that goes wrong on them.
2) You brought up 'handling' again. I must have missed where that means all jack shit in a straight line matchup, because 99.999 percent of people do NOT go canyon racing or racing their cars at the road circuit on the weekends.

The SRT4 is VERY reliable, numbnuts, and responds better to mods than the S2000 does. And YES, the SRT4 did go 0-60 in 5.3 seconds, you should learn a little something about cars before you post. I posted both 0-60 times and quarter mile times, because THAT is how you qualify performance cars, plain and simple.

Yea... you clearly know nothing about turbos. Turbos you dont even have an idle quality impact, both forms of forced induction work with similar ammounts of fuel. And in a closer geared honda you dont drop below 6 between every shift, this means you are at peak boost all of the time.

0-60 means fuck all, the s2k isnt going to be in vtec for a few seconds so its going to suffer, but after that first shift vtec is always engaged and you are getting the full performance of the engine. From a roll on s2k wins against srt-4, same with bolt on rsx-s's. TL-S is faster than an srt-4, 3400 pounds with 300 bhp, its got enough power to stomp out that pos.
