  • is it scott or jesus?

  • Hi mike, too funny. Yup that would be me. I take out new horns that I either build out of PVC pipe or real train horns that I restore and test them out on my golf cart test rig. Scott Miller

  • Where they were coming from. Now we know. We could here them all the way in Burnips! Mike Howe

  • He's horny

  • The booklet will show you how to build a single horn and how to go about tuning it to different notes. You will then repeat the building process to build and connect as many horns together as you want. You will tune each one to the specific note you want it to play. I add plenty of extra information along with the booklet to aid you with your build. I also send out 5 short building videos that are a big help with the finer building details. Thanks for watching.

  • If you make plans for length and such for the Nathan Airchime K5H, ill buy them, as making one is a helluva lot cheaper than buying one.

  • Its sounds really good

  • Are the horn lengths listed so when cut they make the D# F# and B.

I bought the plans from you. I'm still looking for some parts.

    Great sounding horns.

  • great set of horns

  • Wow nice

  • what notes are these playing? thanks

  • I'm thinking of ordering one of your booklets on how to make these.. I'm assuming there is some sort of diaphragm that produces the sound... How often do you have to replace the diaphragm or does it last a long time???

  • how many decibels there

  • I just built a large one that blows at 116 hz, modeled after the Doran Cunningham 6B or the Grover 1054. Can't wait to hook it to my truck.

  • THAT ALL FROM PVC!? please send me an mail with how you make that! :D

  • ohhh man i cant wait to get this instruction booklet. im definitely puttin these on my escort

  • please compare with the real K3LA

  • how do you change the pitch?

  • @ArduinoAlan to change pitch you tighten or loosen the vibrating membrane. Longer and shorter muzzles only makes the sound louder. So a looser membrane and a longer muzzle will produce a low pitch but at the same volume as a tighter membrane (makes a higher pitch) with a shorter muzzle.

  • imma put some on top of my truck

  • Hi Dozerboymiller. Ordered your plans and I just got them in and I'm ready for my build. These horns sound really great. Thanks for the E-Mails, really helped with my decision to build my own.

  • They are deffinately loud enough to make people jump. They are a fun toy.

  • i ordered your horn plans off of ebay...i can't wait to build me a train horn....i might use it at football games...if i can sneak it in...other then that i could just scare people on the street.

  • Wow! that really sounds like the K3's

  • where did you buy the funnels from

  • You should do a side-by-side comparison with the real K3LA. Man, that is nice work.

  • how much would u charge to build a nice set of horns?

  • That sounds awesome!!

  • Received my booklet today. You did a great job putting this book together. Wow, you did better than others I've received from large companies. I should no problem doing the build. Thanks. I'am a retired machinist so this looks like a wonderful project.

Again Scott, many thanks for a great job on the booklet. Very well written and great closeup photos of each step. Well worth the money.

I'll send you my email separately, then you can keep me informed of new designs.

  • Now try to make a k5la :D

  • Nice sound! Sounds prettier than the original, especially as the air pressure drops...consider using an airline restrictor for even purer tones.

  • @NathanH5 Where do I find an airline restrictor ?
