Just getting interested in making timelapses with my webcam, and I saw this. Very nice! I especially liked the street crossing, the "battle" at the tams, and the sunrise.
@kooslap I do live in the area, actually. How is it a nuisance to you? Do you live on the mountain? There's much more serious problems, such as the shootings on St Laurent where innocent people got hit, cafe firebombings because of ongoing organized crime.
@ lethologico ..I live a few blocks away from you actually. The cafe firebombings are only recent. Shootings and stabbings began more frequently when Mayor Dore and Bourque allowed zoning changes in the area to allow more clubs and bars. The tam tams first began because of a Peruvian band that would practice their band's music where the angel statues are located about 15 years ago. It mushroomed into what you see today..I see a lot of riff raff coming in taking our parking spots and lotsa drugs.
I'm 39..things used to be different in our area, it was more family oriented and not as trendy as it is now. I never park my car out in the streets, I've had a lot of bad things happen to it and to my family's other cars (my Dad's and brother's) because of drunken @ssholes at night coming back from the bars and clubs nearby. Going to Jeanne Mance Park in the summer time, I've seen people shooting what looked like heroine next to the baseball fields, small plastic drug bags everywhere. Not good.
I really appreciate the time and subject matter here, extremely beautiful video guys; this is an amazing piece of work, a dose of magic indeed i must say.
The tones movement are simply fantastic and the composition in the city could not have been better, Well done.
Congratulations on doing an outstanding Job!

Congratulation Terence, Rob, and Moz just great work all of you!
Thanks Blackroachs! Moz was very generous to include us in the credits as he did all the editing and used his own time/equipment. We gave our creative input/suggestions on certain things and provided "security" I suppose you could say... lol
Wow, I love this city so much, words can't describe... But this video captures it.

If you live in the area like I do, those tam-tams and the druggie riff-raff that accompany them are a freakin nuisance. Nice video though.
