  • Has the tranny blown yet??

  • i just got a 2002 explorer dont know much bout flowmaster is thier a website for it well thier gotta be but a link please

  • Damn good motor but I've never liked the sound. That didn't sound too bad though.

  • Press the advancetrac button to turn it off, and if you hold it down longer it turns off all assists. Only do this in safe conditions you will peel out.

  • Is it a 4x2 because ive already tried this in my auto 4x4. Only smoke i get is from dry pavement doughnuts haha. Shed some light...

  • how the hell do you do that

  • i hate these tinngs. my moms got an o3 eddie bauwer (not sure if thats how u spell that) but yea these things are WAY under power. and the thing is put together poorly.

  • @Y0B0YCHRIS we have an 03 xlt 4.0l v6 and it is NOT underpowered. that thing will fly on the highway. 60-80 in 4 seconds.

  • @KingofComputing well then let me rephrase that, under torqued. its pretty quick, but the thing wont even spin a tire on a newly paved road and old tires

  • @Y0B0YCHRIS well a newly paved road is pretty sticky but on older pavement i've made some tires spin for a second not even flooring it but if you have a 4*4 model then that's why. when the computer senses wheel slip it engages 4*4 high until the slipping stops making it near impossible to spin the tires except in snow which i did today. 1 foot of snow, a trailer, a hill, highway tires, took me 10 min to get out and a lot of rocking and flooring.

  • wow all i can say is waste of time and money i used to race all the time invest the tire money u just blew into a cold air or something more productive

  • This explorer is either 4x4 with the Brown Wire Mod or just a 4x2, and it is the same engine as the v6 mustang.

  • would that engine be the same as my v6 mustang? (2006 4.0L s197)

  • hi....first woow...second is that 4*4 or no cuz i think it is......third if that is really a 4*4 how did u do that ???...i cant do that with my explorer.....btw my explorer has the same colours....the same engine...and even the same year..so i hope u reply...

  • is that 4x4

  • i gues your going to need new tires! lol

  • Dumb ass "goodboy13k". Your girl friends ranger isn't as heavy on the rear end. . . Cause it's a truck you moron!

  • verg cm iso eso es auntomatico

  • How the hell did you do that it must be only two wheel drive right? My 03 can't do that as soon as the rear end slips it kicks in the 4 Wheel drive automatically. : ( I tried to do some doughnuts but even that is difficult to do unless your in very slick mud or snow / ice

  • @greyyfz450 its called the brown wire mod. it disconnects the auto trac.

  • hahah my girl friends 01 ranger with a 3.0 does a better burnout then that

  • I just got done swapping an engine in an explorer just like that. Timing chains were all floppy. Guides broke and tensioner piston came out and was laying in the oil pan. Engine was severly sludged up. Put a used engine in and drove it around for a day. Its a really nice vehicle.

  • lol all u do is hold the brakes and hit the gas at the same time. the front brakes are a lot stronger than back ones, but once u do this be prepared for new tires and brake pad/rotors

  • Cool, but next time don't mess your mom grosery getter OK

  • have fun with those brakes here soon but still cool to see with the 4x4....i still need to figure out how to get that traction control shit off

  • you cant do this with the 4x4 auto can you?

  • Sounds like shit. Flows are for V-8's only. Putting a flow on a V-6 makes you look like a lame ass wanna be gook ricer.

  • @assphincter I don't know why but the V6's run right with the V8's in a stright line and suck just as bad on gas if not worse I know I've had a two different explorers both sucked gas like crazy and both only had V6's.

And the flow masters mike anything sound better hey at least he's not putting flow master on his civic lol or some other 4 cylinder

  • how did you get the auto 4X4 off?

  • How do you know its a 4X4?

  • One way to burn up the brakes

  • what exhaust you put in and what other modifications did you add

  • yo thats fucking sickkkkk...hahah i have never seen a stock explorer with the stock tires do that...lol thats badd ass.

  • صح عليك

  • yeah sorry that rear end will e ruined quick, 2002 are the worst year for that, my 03 has been lucky but still waiting lol

  • weak

  • he should get new tires after that

  • stop going around to every ford explorer video and posting the same fucking comment, get a life and if you don't like the fucking car then don't look up youtube videos about it dumb fuck.

  • @forresth25 tell him again

  • is that a original explorer?

  • good by transfer case! brown wire mod = dead explorer

  • if i did this in my 4WD the traction control would kick in and stall the engine

and the Brown-Wire Mod destroys your viscous coupling real fast

  • yeah i have the same problem ..stupid traction control kicks in super fast allthough i doubt it stalls the engine

  • go into your fuse box and take out fuse #18, then try :)

  • i have one same two tone paint and wheels v6 leather but its an 04 you cant tell the difference thought

  • Is this stock?

And how do u do that?wat do u need to do?

  • My explorers cool but it sucks up 2 mch gas 4 a start. but what i wana ask to anybody is y cant i spin the wheels anymore?? When i 1st got it it spun wen it wanted but now it jus grips and launchs like a bat outta hell! y is this?? To state the obvious i dont know much about the undercarage of a car lol.

  • I have an 03 v6... always wanted to know how it looked in my truck now I know thanks!!! I would do mine but i vowed never to dog another vehicle out like i did my malibu!... Good times man good times!

  • 5.0 AWD.. not technically 4wd...

  • Does it not damage your car when you do this? I have an 07" Explorer V6 but when someone tried to brakestand in it, nothing happened except for the traction control system coming on. Never figured out how to do one in it though.

  • Yes, DEFINITLY don't do that with yours.. this one is probably a 2wd, or he has modified it. if you try and do break stands with your Auto 4x4 you will quickly destroy your viscous coupling in your transfer case, NOT FUN! trust me...

if you want to do burnouts, pull out your front drive shaft and let your transfer case free spin and not clunk in the front wheels for you...

  • how much was all that?

  • yes they are technically full time cuz its auto... 1/2 throttle or more the 4x4 kicks in or when the rear starts to slip

  • i thought the 02+ expo's were full time 4 wheel drive, how did you turn it off to get the rear wheels loose?

  • No Explorer is full-time 4 wheel drive.

  • 4 of my explorers are full time 4wd.....its only in most of the 5.0 and 4.6 models tho....that 4.0 in the vid dont have full time...it has an auto that kicks 4wd in if you loose traction on all 4 wheels

  • Noo... I have a 2002 Ford Explorer XLT with the 4.0 V6 and its full time 4wheel drive.

  • yea, some v6's have it but not many, they made like 5000 like that in 02.

  • also wrong it it full time 4wd

  • wrong. i got the same 02 v6 and i just had it checked out at the shop up on the lift and all the wheels were going.

  • there just automatic 4 wheel drive and you can just unplug it under the explorer to keep it from turning on

  • oh yeah and when you uplug it or do the "brown wire mod", forcing the viscous coupling to spin, you WILL damage it costing you plenty of money.. (the coupling was designed completely without brake stands in mind)

  • i had a lil bit of water

  • hello how do you did its with your truck because y have one is the same and i willi like do this please tell me how thanks and yes your can in spanish

  • Is this stock with just the Flowmaster 40 exhaust? I've got an '03 with the V6 and so far just a Mac intake, soon to have flowmaster 50 muffler and 2.5" pipes...just curious. Cool vid!

  • flows, volant intake, had the comp. redone, after the vid was made it got lowered and i threw a explorer express superchager

  • hey i was thinkning about getting a explorer express supercharger from dave and talked to him abit about it, hows it working out for you? do you know wut the 0 to 60 time is with the super charger on there?
