  • @anakata3, everybody dies, but you will face God after death. the clue for the creator is that you exist and everything else.

  • The Bible is full of errors, contradictions, etc.. Do a Google search and you will find a lot of them. The Bible was just a mean of controlling primitive people. It has no power on us anymore. The discussion with you is just a waste of time. Follow your religion and your mythical God and bible, and I will follow our science.

  • There is no God. There is no divine healing. Mark my works. There will be a time in the future, when you will get sick. When you will get sick, you will pray to your God, but he/she will not heal you. Then you will visit our scientists, and they will heal you. Then you will thank God that healed you??? haha Either your God does not exist, or he doesn't give a shit for you. I know that you will disagree right now, but when you get sick and ask our doctors to help you, you will then understand.

  • @anakata3

1.Well for starters 40 authors 95% of which didn't know the other, wrote the books with one purposed message proves bronze goat herders couldn't collaborate to form a conspiracy of such harmonization. Its true it was written mostly by uneducated men, more proof that God inspired and used ordinary men(as He did throughout scripture for one main purpose) to relay His perfect message and give glory to Himself not man. If it wasn't God inspired there would be no fluidity. Does

  • 2. the Bible state the earth isn't round and has four pillars? Have you studied these claims or do you just grasp onto them because blog posts agree with your stance? Pillars: oddly used only a couple of times in the Bible, they are used 'poetic', the Psalms 'are' poems/songs, in Job 'if' you actually read the context they are not physical pillars. Would you like me to give you verses that talk about a round earth?

The sun revolving around the earth, what verse are you referring to?

  • 3. Your last post makes no sense, its nothing more than nonsense. Science and God are compatible 100%. You seem to think the Bible tells you to rely on pray instead of medicine. Nope, as 'again' the topic is beyond you, your ignorance of the verses shines.

  • @h2omanz No, science and God are not compatible. You can't believe in a miraculous God, but when you get sick go to human doctors for cure. Is your God miraculous or not? Your bible says that "if 2 people ask anything in my name, I will give it to them". Take one of your friends who believe in Jesus and visit a hospital. Now ask God to cure all those people. Do you know what will happen? Nothing. Because he/she does not exist or he/she doesn't care.

  • @anakata3

    1. Hmm, again not really your area of expertise. In Matt 18 in ACCORDANCE to His will! You think you can test God in such a fashion?Nope. I know about all the socalled contradictions atheists/muslims point at to prove error. I have studied them for years and know that the majority are issues of translation and the ignorant blind eye of 'context'. Go ahead a bring one up so I can show you why getting an education from the internet fails.

  • 2.You think science has proven away God? Your belief is based on .06%(less than 1 percent) of what we actually know about us and the earth's history. Science can only describe it cannot prove a single thing. You need more faith than a Christian God is not real.

  • @h2omanz " Your belief is based on .06%(less than 1 percent) of what we actually know about us and the earth's history. "

Ha ha theistic calculations! Of course we don't understand EVERYTHING about us or earth, but to assert we know next to nothing is absurd. Vaccines, clean water, computers, hell, the MODERN WORLD, was given to us by science. What has god given us again, Oh that's right, have no other gods but me ha Thanks pimp! The theory of germs would have been better, but whatever, right?

  • @h2omanz "You need more faith than a Christian God is not real."

That's like saying "you need more faith to say bigfoot isn't real, then to say he is" which, again, is absurd... Atheists actually don't need ANYTHING to say god isn't real, because YOU'RE claiming him, not us. Atheists, remember? Don't believe in god... So either PROVE what you claim, or shut up... Oh and ps, THAT'S the reason atheism isn't a faith or belief ;) ha ha ha but nice try!

  • @h2omanz Stop bothering me. You are just fooling around. God's will is his/her people to be healthy. So, ask him/her to cure his/her people. Praying for a Christian to get healed IS in ACCORDANCE to his/her will. But nothing will happen. Anyway. Again... STOP BOTHERING ME.

  • @anakata3

When one relies on ignorance as form of conclusion, you are the result, illogical and one sided. You only limit yourself of the truth by sticking your fingers in your ears. You will never know what the truth is if you dont lay down your bias and weigh the evidences from both sides. You can bow to God now or later that is up to you. I am done bothering you, weird as you just threw up your hands and ran away...dont reply as I will take it as a form of stocking:) God loves you..

  • @h2omanz You should really SEE what atheism has to say before giving this absurdly wrong notion we have faith, or whatever. Atheism is an answer to a claim. The claim "god is real" The REASON we don't believe in him, is because YOU haven't proven him (and no, a 3000 year old book ain't gonna cut it either) Sorry your cult has forced you to assume atheists have faith just like you, but nothing is farther from the truth...

  • @TacoBurgher327

Theistic calculations? Hardly, this is how very little we actually know about the earth's history, to claim more is wishful thinking. I stated before science can describe, thats it, nothing is proven, no absolutes. Why do people ignorantly think science and God are in conflict? All that you listed is perfectly in harmony with God his works and ways, our learnings and progression. Its the philosophical nonsense that disguises itself as science that conflicts

  • 2.with real science. God has given everything to us, most are too blind, self-centered and prideful to know the gifts given to each of us. Think you missed the whole concept of needed faith. To believe design, order and natural laws 'just for starters' can result from purposeless accidents/chance and not a creator does require faith and how its logical is beyond me when your belief goes against the very laws of science.

  • 3.As far as its up to the Theist to provide the burden of proof depends on the atheist and his 'stance'.

Weird.. I never stated atheism is a faith or belief, I stated requires it.

  • There are thousands of religions around the world. The Christians, Muslims and others have slaughtered and killed millions of people in the name of their God. If the God of the Christian bible or the God of the Quran was real, he would never allow millions of killings in his name. He would also interfere to tell which religion is right and which is wrong. He would never allow people to live in the darkness of unending arguments. The God of the bible/quran does NOT exist. WAKE UP.

  • @anakata3

What about the 150 million killed by atheistic communists in the last 100yrs. Its 'man' that will kill, religious or not, do not blame God. You state God would never allow killing/would interfere? That would put your thinking on the same pedestal as His, as high as God's. He has intervene with His Word, yet many still refuse. Wake up!! Is what I would say to the one that insinuates instead of investigates. Ignorance of His works doesn't logically conclude nonexistence.

  • @h2omanz The atheists do not have a list with 10 Commandments saying "You shall not kill". The Christians do have that list. But killing other people is obviously negotiable for the Christians/Muslims. It depends on who kills and who gets killed. If there was a real God he or she would have interfered to show the right way. He or she would eliminate all religions that do not speak the truth. Instead, he or she leaves people to fight in his/her name. Because he/she simply does not exist.

  • @anakata3

    1. Christians do not have a list that states such, thats ignorant learning. The ones that killed in the name of God did so wrongfully. It was/is unbiblical to kill in such manner. The Romans took the beauty of Christianity and tainted it 300yrs later. The Roman Catholics used it as a weapon to control the masses n killed in God's name. You ask if God is real why does He allow such, shouldn't..

  • 2.He be asking us the same question? God gives man the choice to choose. God honors all by letting them decide to accept or deny Him. Its called freewill as true love gives choice, and God honors every mans decision. The BIble is very clear why things are the way they are. Man is evil by heart, and again by you using untutored learnings to excuse away God is fail to begin with.

  • @h2omanz

    1. I guess you have never heard of the 10 Commandments. That's OK. You obviously have never opened a Bible in your life.

    2. How do you know than God is a man and not a woman? haha The original Hebrew bible does not say "He", "Him", etc. The Hebrew Bible says "Elohim" which means "those who came from the sky". According to the original Hebrew Bible, the Gods are many. There are also many verses in the Bible where it is clear that our creators are many, both male and female.

  • @anakata3

Actually I'm a bit of an amateur scholar/historian, and my Bible(s)are always open. Don't think you understood what I wrote. Again the killing by Christians was the furthest thing from Biblical. Hmm, I'd have to disagree with plural gods, Elohim mean 'deity' and is plural but 'not' when used with a singular verb, as when directed at the 'true' God in the Bible, the Father. God is referred to in the Bible in a masculine form(Father), and not feminine, this is how I know.

  • @h2omanz And how do you know that the Bible was not written by uneducated human beings that wanted to control primitive people? Do you know that the Bible says that the earth has four pillars(!), and that the earth is not round? Do you know that the bible says that the sun revolves around the earth, and not the opposite? All those bullshit were written by uneducated men thousands of years ago, with little to zero scientific knowledge. The bible has no power on the 21st century citizens.

  • This is where I get confused. Adam and Christ are at two ends of a mythic narrative which seems an obvious representation of a full progression of human consciousness from birth to death with clues in how to successfully navigate the inevitable transitions therein. Most have no idea how to have a 'relationship' with an invisible person but if it was explained that 'Christ' simply represents the potential in all of us to be 'anointed' (healed) it would make so much more sense. Even to atheists!

  • So...God made Adam & Eve perfect without sin. Placed a tree to tempt them and told them not to eat it. The only other speaking thing besides God and human is the serpent and it tells Eve its Ok. Eve shares with Adam and now because god set them up to fail we have to be punished? hmm

Then god sends himself to sacrifice himself to appease himself of the anger caused by his very own actions? We have to ask him for forgiveness for his screw up?

    Your god is demented.

  • The presenter did not understand the Holy Trinity. He asked why Jesus couldn't save himself but that was not the intention. He died to save the world. To say it was unjust is to ignore that it was a sacrifice.

  • the problem with the unbeliever is that they do not accept the dogma, and their interpretations become misguided when they are basically taken out of context. i do not blame them; the Bible is rather large.

good video though. i agree, needless to say.

  • if you really think you can't take apart the bible point by point...

    watch?v=7W3Sl34oFz8&feature=related

  • You gotta be kidding- I've dealt with this guy. His methods are terrible and he gives nothing but his own biased opinions. He also will not answer my questions when I have answered his. Watch my videos in dealing with him- "Warning Against Evil" and "Battle for Christ Series". Also, he is an unbeliever incapable of understanding what he scrutinzes- look up and read 1 Cor. 2:11-16.

  • "His methods are terrible and he gives nothing but his own biased opinions"

Well, I wouldn't say terrible, but you made statements that he had directly addressed so I figured it was worth pointing out.

Especially since you were responding to one of his videos.

    Take care

    Matt

  • Why does god want to sacrifice himself to himself to appease himself? Seems a little weird, huh? Or maybe it's just me?

  • It's not you- it does seem weird and hard to grasp, but it is the heart of the gospel and so important! God is perfect- if He pardoned sinners with no perfect sacrifice He would have to deny His perfect character to do so. That would make Him imperfect. Christ gave Himself up to appease God's wrath upon sin to pay the debt in full so that God would still be just and be able to justify saved sinners without denying Himself to do it. Read Romans 3:23-28.

  • That doesn't really answer the question of WHY god wanted a blood sacrifice to appease his own wrath. ANd how can God be perfect? He created imperfect creatures. I would say that if they had the "ability" only, that still is imperfect, since god cannot sin (tell a lie) because he is perfect. ANd will we have freewill in heaven if there is no sin???? And if Satan sinned in heaven, how is that possible?? Since he was in the presence of god, who was perfect. Do you think sin will be heaven?

  • I only have 500 characters here so I must ask you to read the Romans passage I listed. It DOES answer those questions, but without the Spirit and the mind of Christ you may reject it or simply not understand it to be a sufficient answer. The answer to your last question is no, there is no sin in heaven. You are also mixing up many different issues here and your not having any fundamental biblical knowledge in these areas makes it very difficult to explain, especially in these comment sections.

  • No it does not answer my questions. And stop insulting me with this whole-you are spritually dead- nonsense. I only see that as a cop out. Even self professing christians cannot make sense of the religion as a whole.. ANswere me this.. Will there be free will in heaven? ANd why or why not? ANd will there be sin in heaven? why or why not?

  • And how did Satan sin in heaven? Where did he get his sin nature? And can the angels get saved?

  • You ask good questions! Satan wanted to userp God's power and fell from heaven as a result. I can't speak to his nature; I'm not sure the scriptures are clear on that, but I could be wrong- I'll check into it. Angels are not part of the plan of salvation and therefore cannot be saved- they don't need to be saved.

  • If some of the Angels are damned to hell (jude)then why can't they have a chance to be saved also. Where is the justice in this?

  • Jude? Jude was the brother of Jesus and the author of the book which bears his name; he wasn't an angel. Angels are created beings outside the plan of salvation and serve specific roles. They do not require nor desire salvation. Salvation is only for the elect of God.

  • I was talking about the passage in the book of Jude...About the angels being kept in everlasting chains waiting the day of judgement. You said the angels don't need saving? Why not? Where is the justice?

  • Justice has been done- they did not "keep their domain" and "abandoned their proper abode" and have been "kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgement of the great day"(Jude:6). Justice is not about letting anyone off the hook for their sin- it's about paying the price for that sin. We have the great privilage of receiving the free gift of eternal life because of Christ's payment of our debt. The angels are not part of this plan. Is that fair? Yes. Is it fair that God saved anyone?

  • hhhmm.. maybe you don't believe in a just god.Or maybe you have a diferent definition of justice.

  • Isn't justice when the guilty are punished? Perhaps you don't believe in true justice. God is the perfect example of true justice- No one gets off the hook and no one is wrongfully punished.

  • If Adam had the ability to sin, which he obviously did, then how can we say that he did not already have a SIN nature? It seems like it was a set up, kinda inevidable. He had to already have his SIN nature otherwise how could he sin? This doesn't make any sense.

  • Adam did not have a sin nature prior to his first sin. Adam was created with total freedom which gave him a perpensity to sin, but was given the opportunity to obey God. He chose to disobey and thereby drove the human race into sin. We inherited the sin nature Adam created. I agree, these are difficult issues and seem to not make sense, but it is vital for us to understand so that we can deal with ourselves accurately and not have too high of an opinion of ourselves.

  • Why did god make us with the ability to sin???

  • Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.Psalm 51:5

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.Romans 3:10

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.Romans 3:23

Everyone knows they are a sinner, the problem is they get so comfortable in the sins that their wickedness seems normal after a while! Great message Brett.

  • In the mortal world such a concept would find an abundace of supporting evidence. The people of a representative sometimes suffer either directly or indirectly as a result of his/her actions. However, its still uncharacteristic of an infalable creator to be as flawed and unjust as the world in which his creation inhabits. Anything that would endow us with curiosity and then punish us for the pursuit of knowledge cannot be worthy of our consideration. I have always fought that Christian assertion

  • "its still uncharacteristic of an infalable creator to be as flawed and unjust as the world in which his creation inhabits."- So it's unjust to expect people to pay for their sins? It would be unjust to let people off the hook.

"Anything that would endow us with curiosity and then punish us..."- What do you mean by that?

  • Its unjust and uncharacteristic of a creator God to punish others for the actions of one man, a man who's only crime was the pursuit of knowledge. God endowed Adam with curiosity(yet strangely enough did not given him any knowledge of right and wrong), this God then punished Adam for the curiosity he knew Adam would use.

  • no we have all sinned not just adam, therefore we are not suffereing due to his sin but our own

and adam ate the fruit because eve convinced him and eve ate the fruit not for knowledge but to be equal with God. the serpant decieved her into thinking it would make her the same as God if she ate the fruit

so it wasnt an innocent quest for knowledge, but in fact simply direct disobedience to the one rule that existed

  • Curiosity is not sin, nor is temptation. Adam gave into the temptation and it gave birth to sin (James 1:13-16); the first sin which drove the human race into sin. Adam also sought after equality with God and to usurp His power by what he did. That was evil and we do it today.

  • Why didn't Eve's act bring sin into the world, but only Adam's act? Is it because her info was hearsay? Isn't our info hearsay? ANd doesn't the bible say that we were born condemned anyways? SO they were already condemened too. Because it was BEFORE the foundations of the world that jesus was chosen for a sacrifice. But why not make a place with no sin? If because free will, then will we still have freewill in heaven, since there will be no sin? if god can make heaven already, why didn't he do it?

  • NOt true..Jesus said to even look at woman with lust was the same as adultery.

  • bbechin; What if satan had refuse to tempt Adam? He would have not done god;s will. satan did just what god told him to do,that make god&satan one and the same. Thank;s Yvan

  • What if, what if, what if- A rediculous notion and your reasoning is absurd. Sorry.

  • bberchin;Col 1;16 All thing are created by god, that include Lucifer, satan, etc. So far you do a terrible job at public relation, you have chosen to insult me instead of proving me wrong,I can see at 35 you need to grow up.Thank;s Yvan

  • How have I insulted you? I'm being honest with you and I am unable to make heads or tales of most of your comments. You don't make sense, Yvan. What am I supposed to do? You talk about public relations- first, I don't care about public relations I care about the truth and second, your confusing speculative comments don't relate to anyone. I'm sorry Yvan, but you seem to keep leaving comments trying to back me into a corner which are based on speculation and are downright confusing.

  • I'm only at 3:13 in the video, so you may get to this later -- if so, ignore my question. The passage from Romans says sin was not imputed when there was no law, nevertheless death (which Romans calls the penalty for sin) "reigned." If people were paying the penalty for sin, then it seems clear that sin *was* being imputed despite the absence of the law. How do you make sense of this? Thanks.

  • Good question, Professor- Before the Mosaic law had been revealed sin was not charged against man (Rom 4:15), but everyone still died because of their sin nature inherited from their federal head, Adam. In other words, they were in reality sinners who owed the debt for sin regardless of their awareness of the law they transgressed, i.e. you cannot plead ignorance (Rom 2:14-15)

  • Thanks for the response. It's just not clear to me what "not charged against man" means if in fact people were paying the penalty. Is it that they were paying the penalty for Adam's sin?

  • No, they were paying their own penalty. Rom. 2:14-15- "For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law. They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them"

  • OK. One more question, then -- if you'll indulge me. During this period prior to the law, when sin was *not* being imputed to people but they were nevertheless paying the penalty for their own sins, how would things have been different if sin *were* being imputed to people?

  • I don't like to speculate on what if's when it comes to theology, but I would say that things would be as they were right after the law had been revealed. Sorry if that sounds like a "duh" answer, but it seems the only logical answer to such a speculation.

  • So you imagine that things wouldn't have looked any different, is that it?

  • I can't be certain of that. It's hard enough to learn theology as it is, but then to add speculation on top of it is confusing and usually leads to wrong conclusions and distraction from the truths which are important. The important truth here is that all people since Adam have been responsible for their sin before God and have always been saved by grace alone apart from works according to God's will.

  • OK. Thanks.

  • bberchin; Your words.. All people have been responsible for there sin.... We cannot be held responsible for something we have no control over, (Original sin) A man (Adam) chose to sin not humanity,You cannot be blame for something you did not do simple as that. god create the problem (Sin) then sell you the solution. Thank you Yvan

  • bberchin; Your words.. All people are responsible for there sin,... no one can be held liable for something beyond there control (Original sin) God made you a sinner before birth and now demand you repent from it. That is nonsense. This is like you sell your gun to someone and that person commit murder with it,according to christianity you are liable for it. Thank;s Yvan

  • God didn't make you and I sinners. Adam and Eve are responsible for that and you are responsible for the sins you commit as a result of your sin nature. There is nothing unfair about it or nonsensical. There is good news- repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and your sins will be forgiven and you will not have to pay the eternal penalty for that sin. It's a free gift- why do continue to complain about the implications of sin when there is a way out?

  • bberchin; Yout words. GOd did not make you or I sin...Of course he did it was his plan, his idea,he fixe it that way by creatin satan, original sin, evil, etc. Col. 1;16,Eph.3;9,Rev.4.11,John.1;3,God created ALL evil that exists today. Also Deut. 24;16 ..shall not be punished for the sin of there father... We are not responsible for what Adam did. Surely God should not take all the credit and none of the responsability. You are contradicting your own book. Thank you Yvan
