i found that bug in california i had no clue what it was so i was searching it up on the internet and then i found it

That looks like the beetle I found, but mine was brown, had bigger pinchers, and would squeek. Check out my video of it. Maybe you can identify it!

@Calliber50 I found one that wass green and Shiny. It had Black antennae and an orange Thorax/Abdomen.

The most handsome bug I've ever seen. I met with one in downtown Portland, OR on 8/1/2007.
