I tried raw oysters for the first time at a Chinese restaurant. I put a little bit of cocktail sauce on it and slurped it down. It actually wasn't half bad.

The first out of only two times in my life that I've had raw oyster was when i was about similar age as you in this video and visited the US with my family (Seattle specifically). I loved it in Seattle.

Then when I was older like 22 or so I was traveling with my mother to Brussels, Belgium and also had raw oyster but I really didn't like it that time. For some reason, they served it in water with seaweed and it just tasted like seawater with a piece of snot in it, not very nice at all.

The secret is to, rather than use lemon, just use a small dab of horseradish. That's my preferred method.

i go there all the time i love the crabs there and next time dont buy oysters there, there not as fresh as you seem. also next time dont use forks slurp them and use hot sauce

I'm glad there are kids out there like you!! Always willing to try new things, and not being a afraid. I always tell people you won't know unless you try, can't really judge how it tastes until you try it! But some people are just too ignorant. People survive on these kinds of food everywhere! Just because it's not in your regular diet, doesn't mean it's gross. CHEERS REMY! YOU ROCK!

Great job Remy! You've got quite a diverse pallet for a youngster. Maine Avenue Fish Market is a great place to grab a meal of fresh seafood. I actually got a small pearl in an oyster there once.
