  • one of their best songs

  • i want to promove my new video with mexican girl pics and atlanta...just im a scott fan check out my channel ! thank you

  • Four is probably my favorite album of theirs, remember listening to it over and over, and......etc. :)

  • cancion lindi

  • this song is perfect

  • this is the most beautiful thing i have ever seen

  • This song is Beautiful;-)

  • ¡ Emotiva y Muy Hermosa !

  • I live in Juarez Mexico and ive heard Scot Weiland was married to a rich women here/ but who knows?

  • @JOEslipkorn the last wife is mexican too...the first one was jannina en 1994 =)

  • @cac1987fcb his second wife was mary "something" correct?

  • @dennisjr77 yeah...she called mary...she was latin girl too i guess

  • @JOEslipkorn yea Weiland's wife was Janina Castaneda, 1994 - 2000. This song is about his addiction to heroin and how it ruined his marriage, ie 'the mexican princess is out of my life' from what i understood they seperated in 1998 and the divorce was finalized in 2000 around the time he wrote the lyrics to Atlanta. He mentions this in an interview that he was going through the seperation around the time of writing this song

  • all time fav its ashame that this new generation doesnt have such great music like this

  • I never paid attention to this song until a few minutes ago. Never realized the beauty on it, really under rated song

  • show me someone who didnt hear morrisons voice from scott and i will show you one tone deaf bastard

  • Hadn't thought of the Morrison influence until I read it here. Seems Scott is always compared to others, eg., Morrison, Vedder but his voice is multidimensional. This is a greatly underrated song

  • @Progrose I don't get the Vedder comparision, (the singer from 7marythree sounds just like Eddie though)

  • Cool band, cool song!!!

  • Does anybody think of "Favorite Things" from the Sound of Music?

  • thanks for the upload,

he is the best live singer.

my guinea pig liked this song.

  • AMAZING STP song, goes directly to the soul!

  • Stop talking and start singing!!

  • @kokomotoysonline The title of the show is story tellers. That means the people that went to this show want to hear the stories behind the song.

  • @markenhagen story tellers is a GREAT show.

  • The closest thing to Jim Morrison on the planet!!!!

  • jim morrison's voice!!!!

  • Weiland is so hot.

  • you can see there is alot of Jim Morrison influences :)

  • Oh his voice is amazing - serenade me any time!

  • Weiland is incredible, fucking awesome

  • GREAT SONG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • fucking goosebumps<3

  • Beautiful song, and his voice sounds lovely here.

  • I like it...it is haunting & his voice is perfect for a song like this. it reminds me of a christmas song...these are a few of my favorite things

  • four people have no feelings!

  • this song kind of reminds me of a song by the doors, he has a great voice

  • @sunshinedaydream02 i was thinking the same thing and ya he have a great voice on this tune

  • amazing but this song needed to be sung with just scott and Dean less is more...catch them right after they wrote it on some radiao station at 7am in th moring...the absolute perect tune best song i have ever heard....rips your soul in half..

  • singing a little sharp and flat at times, but still a great song

  • Scott Weiland leads in a way that others fail to recognize, therefore, do not follow. Hauntingly beautiful I love it every time.

  • Stop talking and sing!

  • This is easily the most dynamically crafted song from a rock band since Zepplin did stairway.

  • Awesome. One of the best songs

  • Never before have I heard anything that sounds so beautiful and creepy at the same time! This song gave me chills the first time I heard it!

  • Grande som, não há melhor do que isto! Simplesmente fantástico!

  • Grande som, não há melhor do que isto!

  • One of there greatest songs! This is why they are better than pearl jam and nirvana....

  • I think it sounds like "all my favorite things" from the sound of music

  • @Gcolucci712 Absolutely based on "My Favorite Things"...not that there's anything wrong with that! I think the chorus maybe puts it over the top.

  • This is a bad ass version of this song!!!

  • Very Morrison like vocals, awesome.

  • njoyed this great album in downloadmusic .im

  • great song:-)

  • Sounds a lot like Jim Morrison!

  • @Mrsamberrobbins Yes, it has a beautiful Doors feel to it. You know a song is truly special when you fall head over heels the first time you hear it. I'm not saying that creeper or grower songs don't become the most beautiful by the way, but the moment I heard this song it built an unmistakable atmosphere in my head. That doesn't happen every day

  • hey respect to other poets man. its expression of self, and its ok to express yourself, but please keep to urself what you have to say negative of others

  • This is what Jim Morrison would have sung.

Had he had half a brain. He didn't. He was an idiot.

STP- yo do it so well!

  • @tommyrock69 Morrison wasn't an idiot. He was a musical and poetic genius.

  • @Anaklondike

Only illiterate people think he was a poetic genius. He was a clown who thought he was a poet.

  • @crazymiles He was an excellent poet. You're just too ignorant to understand his poetry.

  • awesome tune my favorite from stp!

  • she was a princess,queen of the highway:Di love so much "Atlanta":D

  • he actually seems really sober saw them in august in st paul. best show ever!

  • 2 dudes don't live in atlanta.

  • Bowie? Really our new generation! Luv,luv, luv!!! :-)

  • STP's most under rated song, love it!

  • Damn, he is fucked up lmao. Epic band. Epic song.

  • 'My love is unusual, it's painted with roses and thorns...

  • Ana used to live in Atlanta. :D

  • amazing

  • Best band ever??

  • @stewartmc7 did you ever heard anythig about Pink Floyd?

  • @iSanderCA Do you think seeing Roger Waters live twice, and Aussie Floyd 4 times is considering "hearing about" them?

  • Maravillosa canción. Esperamos que sea interpretada por estos monstruos del rock mundial en su próxima venida a Perú.

  • scott te estoy esperandooooooooooooooo!!!

    diciembre ya llega

  • One of my favorite song...

    F**k...

  • cough cough *Doors* cough couch!!!!!!

  • oNE OF MY FAVORITE STP songs

  • are they playing on the set from the show All in the Family?

  • agreed fuckin beautiful...too bad weiland is different now

  • Long enough of an explanation there Scott?

  • @opwanncanopie

the name of the show was storytellers after all!!!....lol

  • @pastchew Yeah, realized that after I posted it.... foot in mouth disease.

  • @opwanncanopie

    ha ha.....its all good..lol

  • i'll be at the show Sunday night in Cleveland...can't wait

  • what a fucking fantastic version 1 love stp and glad they're back with a new album..hope they make their way to canada !

  • @blica1

saw them in moncton last year.....hope the fuck they come back cause it was awsome!!!!!!

and yes its probably the best version of this song ive heard...lol

  • ar2022 I totally fuqn agree!

  • that's strange..wmp credits robert and scott with writing it and not dean.

  • this song still has the same haunting effect on me as it did the first time i heard it

  • es re interesante como fue la movida de que se les ocurrio a cada por separado

  • Beautiful song. I think their acoustic sets and songs are their best.

  • woohoo.! my city! but i agree with everyone i fuckin love this.

  • Whoever voted dislike should be burned alive D:

  • @RaRdEvA Done!

  • Ohmygod , this song is amazing . The first time I heard it , I nearly cried because it's sounds so sad , but yet , it's an addicting song .

  • I really fucking hope there's a song of this caliber on their new album. What I've heard from it is great so far (Between the Lines, Hickory Dichotomy and Bagman). But there needs to be a mellowed out acoustic song that packs an emotional punch with beautifully written lyrics that only Scott can write. I'll settle for something similar to "Hello It's Late" from "Shangri-LA DEE DA" or "I Know It's Too Late" from "'Happy' In Galoshes". There just needs to be a song like this on the new one.

  • esto me recuerda algun pueblo de mexico algo drogado

  • @U2Zeuz he he he :)

  • @U2Zeuz he he he :)

  • Honestly, their best song.

  • his voice remainds me jim morrison!

  • I would marry him, regardless of the craziness lol

  • @CherryStorme You should check out SPIN magazine's cover story on them from a couple months back,if you can get a copy. It's a great article!

  • ES MUY BUEN TEMA.....

  • AWESOME =) STP RULES :P

  • Great lads, just pre-ordered their self titled album out in May with t,shirt can't wait!

  • Scott looks high yeah and Dean looks really pissed at 0:27....I wonder what he thinks ? great song by the way :-)

  • @Sickjunk disagree...I think he looks sober, I have seen him in person messed up.

  • Comment removed

  • He looks hella high in this vid. Good stuff.

I like the live version from the Thank You dvd a lot better though.

  • great song...

kinda disappointed there's no video for "I've Got You"..the song a track or two before this on No. 4. I love that song.

  • one of the greatest songs ever.

  • is he lip synching? i've heard some crappy live stuff from him. but, he was really good at MTV unplugged.

  • no. there's a few notes he doesn't hit perfectly and it's also clear that he's not on drugs here which is why his singing is better than it is some other times. i think he probably also tried extra hard to sing the songs well because they put these videos on tv

  • This is a beautiful performance by the band and skillful arrangement as well. Channeling the ghost of Jim Morrison...

  • STP is/was a great group and was probably a bit overlooked as a band because of the era they came out of. This is their best song.

  • incredible,,, really... IN CRE DI BLE!!!!! i love this song!!

  • the mexican princess is out of my life.

    i think i need a drink ..

  • this song, plush, and silvergun are my fav

  • Why this song never became a hit, I will never know. One of my favorites from this group.

  • because most radio stations dont know good music when its handed to them

  • @nibblebaby My dear We r the inmense Majory!!!!

  • @nibblebaby critics accused them of ripping off The Doors with this song. Hard core grunge fans turned up their noses as well.

  • @atban1824 even if they did its funkin deadly and i'm glad they did.good tunes are good tunes. this tune gives me wood

  • @atban1824 what doors song at all?

  • love his voice.

  • My favorite song by them always has been since I first heard it ages ago.

  • Quite the song! The story about when Scott started with H, the rest of the band told him to snap out of it, and the untimely crescendo that were encased therein!

  • This song was not written about his drug battle it was written about his ex wife Janina Castaneda.

  • I was referring to Scott's lead in story, where Dean won't even look at him, and looks over at Bob for the " Let me know when he's done" cue.

  • This is my Aunt Kathy and Uncle Micheal's Wedding song!

  • holy shit jim morrison, thast whati love about scott weiland hes like a camelion when it comes to singing, jst listen to the difference in his voice from core to no.4

  • anyone else think he started to look like the dude from burn notice those days? lol

  • i fucking love this song.

  • same here, the first time i heard it i loved it.

  • WEUT BADN IS DIS?

  • stone temple pilots. l

  • great version? where is it from?

  • VH1 Storytellers

  • BEAUTIFUL!! I love the studio cut too!!

  • on the album version its a lot like morrison. Scott has that talent, a bit like Mike Patton, where he could pretty much sing anything, he has so many sounds and this song is outstanding. His vocals make it for me.

  • I love this song. :)

  • great city, great lyrics, great song she has been burnt to the ground and remains to comfort me on the mornings when all is asleep

  • Maybe one of the most beautiful songs ever written ?

  • agreed

  • @AidanParle I'd say you can lose the question mark.

  • @architectspacecadet Spot on !

  • Scott Weiland has different voices in each album, his style is unique. i love it.

  • Yup, I think so too, Morrison ! Love this whole album No 4

  • kik ass song PERIOD

  • i love this song.. scott weiland is actually a huge fan of jim morrison and he really sings like him.. STP ROCKS!! \m/

  • i wonder if he can still sing this song so well...

  • scott looked so different in the stages of his career, its unbelievable.

  • yea drugs can do that to ya. great job on this performance though notta lotta ppl jabbering about in the background good recording. my home city i'm glad they came up with this while they were here as dark as it may be.

  • scot looks like a young graham bonnet here

  • Wow

Such a great orchestration. These guys are good. Real good.

  • very morrison like. nice. they played it live here in atlanta on 08/23.

  • Yeah I thought the same.. Its very clear that he likes Jim Morrison!

  • haha...i had the same idea...it really sounds like a morrison´s song

  • very smooth version

  • weiland is good sing

  • nice....
