@sleepysnz they are tough as and have various mounting options . just make sure the output on the r2 is the same size as what your driveshafts are. i am very happy with the R2.

i used a futaba MC330CR esc, a 60T motor, and basic futaba 2 chan Receiver - (FP-R122JE).

honestly when you run a high torque motor, your speedy doesn't even get warm. i was originally using the TEU-101BK ESC and it did fine, i just wanted more + i wanted reverse to have good power too. Some speedies have half the power to reverse. hope this helps a little.

wow i got to get me a set of portal axles, Ive just recently put a 4 link, r2 HD tranny, 3-1 gear reduction box,and RC4wd Rock crushers mounted on aluminum beadlocks and I still want to do something else lol btw my truck is a f-350 highlift
