Socceroos used a lot U-23 youth players in this match. Some of them never played for socceroo before. It is reasonable that they lost the match, but they got experience.

China soccer team just won a dead rubber match to save face, but they are at the bottom of this group.

Both sides got something and lost something. I think socceroos got much more and lost much less.
