I used to work as a projectionist in this theatre in Rotterdam. I had a great time there .But after 10 years I quit my job. Later I realised that was the most stupid move in my life. I still regret that day and realise ,I will never find a job like that anymore !!!!!!!

.....very very sad that this method of electromechanical film exhibition is being so rapidly driven into extinction by the digital revolution.
Love your films Fred - I miss projection as it was but pleased not to be involved with the industry as it is now.....

Multi-screen SIGH Now I'd like to see a Cinerama film first hand.
So this was videoed around (1999) "American Beauty"
1:27 Wow in all cinemas that Ive seen and few that Ive worked in never seen a circular port window before.
2:50 a Cinerama projection booth that is rare sight. Looks like a Dolby CP55 or 65 in the distance.
4:58 wow haven't seen that before the (film gate) on the lens.
