@hawrivermetal hey man where can i find that station? i used to have it bak in the day but it keeps changing on my television. forgot what its called but they play cool bands but its very repetitive
@09mrhardabs ...dont know bout tv...jus found it in the work truck...browsing the stations...it was a all thrash hour or somethin like that...it was great..
@hawrivermetal yeaahhh i think they call that hour ultra-violence (has nuthin to do with violence but thats what the hour was called). nuthin but thrash n early death metal. it was great man
@EverxOpeningxFlower Dude how!!??? Thrash of titans or something? Or the glory days of thrash in the 80s? Yea I'd say this I'd my favorite too but I'd e. nightmares had a couple more tacks or somethin it'd be hard. But that's totally awesome though I have yet to possess anything of violence besides their music!
I want more thrash bands to come out of retirement and show how it's done!!!If Thrash ever needed re-tuning,now is the time to get back to it.Go independent.
I can see why some people didn't like the vox, but unique vocal styles are what thrash so awesome: John Connelly, Hetfield, Mustaine, Zet, Belladonna, Ken Nardi, Eric Knutson, Chuck Billy, Steve Reynolds, Bruce Corbitt...Man, I could go on & on...Now, most vocalists sound like Pantera. Which is fine...If you're IN Pantera.
@deathbox75 I agree with you about the vocal styles. The first generation sang with attitude and with ferocity. The present just growls away but Chuck Billy does it with class!!!
yeah it could be his voice, dont know if its to high, I think its the way he sang and phrased his words, it was kinda different, it almost sounds like hes not on time with the music. I love his voice!!
@diemutha666 no probs, i could understand your thinking when u read it. I was just stating that this was as good as anything in the 80s, which is considered the greatest decade of thrash music.
@surgpath1 Thanks 4 forgiving me.I feel that today's music just lacks depth n' a sense of ownership.Everybody wants 2 play a 1000 beats /min or sounding heavier n' crankier on vocals than everybody else but creativity is just non-existent.Older thrash bands had their own sound, vocals styles n' signatures, heavy yet wary of their musicianship; but not the bands of today.Thrash has come a long way from the depths;only become a franchise of it's honesty. From underground 2 pop culture.

the problem with 90% of old school thrash metal, IN MY OPINION, is the vocals always suck. everything else is great, but the vocals blow.

its boggles the mind how this band flew under the radar, so fuckin talented, so underrated!!!
this album was as good as anything that came out in the eighties!!
surgpath24 2 years ago 41
There is so much good 90's thrash it's unbelievable.
To be honest, the 80s is my least favorite decade for metal.
alreadytaken334 2 years ago
no doubt the 90s thrash didnt get the credit it deserved. I grew up in the 80s and it will always be my fav. decade. it was the begining of thrash.
surgpath1 2 years ago 2
are you serious mate?
broersz 2 years ago
Yeah I'm serious. The 90's had death metal and the 00's had all sorts of assorted awesome shit.
alreadytaken334 2 years ago
i respect your opinion mate, but i always hated death metal because it killed off thrash metal in britain. (that and the rave scene).
if we all liked the same thing, life would be boring wouldnt it.
broersz 2 years ago 2
Ah, I never knew that about Britain.
alreadytaken334 2 years ago
hell yeah i'm just 14 and i walk around school with damn stonewashed ripped jeans and white reeboks and crank this shit up man. keep thrashin dude
