Hello my Brother... i hope you good and blessed and i m very happy wahching your vidos and brother and i like your teaching ministry brother you come in Pakistan ,Lahore and preaching word of God and you preach at my church Gospel of Faith Ministries Pakistan.i m invite you in Pakistan
I hope Pastor Paul comes back more powerful than ever! Tests create testimonies even the tests we fail cause with God's forgiveness we can all start over again. Thank You Jesus for justification by your blood!
WE ARE NOT PERFECT!!!! JESUS DID NOT CALL PERFECT PEOPLE, he called the desciples, some had filthy mouths (fishermen), bad tempers and he associated with prostitutes, etc. Pastor Sheppard is a man, a sinner saved by grace. Not saved by man--humans. If that was it there would be no forgiveness from most--but God is NOT LIKE OTHER MEN ARE--call on him and he forgives. My beloved Pastor knows this and I KNOW he is blessed of God, he did the right thing. I hope his wife Loves him enough, I do.

This man is human and I pray he's completely restored. David was a man after Gods own heart. Not only did David commit adultery, he committed murder as well. So who's Paul Sheppard to David? It's one thing to make a mistake and another thing to lead a double life. I believe Paul made a mistake.

he is only a man. his teachings have brought me closer to God and increased my understanding of the Word. God bless Pastor Paul, Merideth and his children.

Pastor Paul has touched so many lives for Christ and has a special gift-I pray God willing, he can impact lives again. I will pray for he and his family for forgiveness and God's wisdom-that will begin the healing process. Let's not "cast stones" as that is what Satan wants-to take ownership of one of God's servants and to create dissension amongst God's people. Let's not let Satan take a foothold. Let's rise up and allow God to be glorified through this situation!
The Bible says that all fall short of God's glorious standard. If anyone has the audacity to judge our brother, then you need repent. Our brother's sin is no different from the ones that we deal with on a daily basis in private. We need to cover our brother and his family with prayer and not criticism. God have mercy on us. If God exposed some of our sins, we wouldn't be so judgemental of my brother Paul.
Right now Pastor Paul Is being Chastened by the Lord in a way that would bring most of these people who are criticizing him now to utter devastation. I am praying for Pastor Paul and am confident in the Lord that there will ultimately be redemption and restoration, To the Glory of God, in the life of Our dear pastor paul. IN JESUS NAME! AMEN.
There are many people who will point out Pastor Sheppard's Fault and Give their opinions. Is Any so called christians who decides to cast stones at this time really following Christ's example in such a way that justifies them to scorn Pastor for his MISTAKE and SIN.
That was not a mistake. He knew exactly what he was doing That was premeditated sin.. It could happen to any of us in the ministry. But I believe God can restore him
People make bad judgement calls all the time. Just because you "know" what you are doing when you make bad decisions does not make those decisions any less mistakes than when you don't. Sin is sin. And more often than not, hind sight makes apparent all of our mistakes. Even if we happened to "know" what we were doing at the time of the mistake.
What about is with and family his church family especially the weak minded who will leave Christ and the church for his moral failure. Lets pray for the family and the body of Christ. Pastor Sheppard sinned let him suffer the consequences!!!
I believe, like many addicts, when deprived of their fixed they want it the more. Pastor Paul has deprived his congregation and supporters of his presents and his personal physical apology. That's makes it much easier for the sympathizers to put him right back in the pulpit. He needs to bring forth "meat worthy of repentance." Sin is Sin. Moral Failure/Crisis is "adultery no more no less.
God Bless Pastor Paul and his family. He has changed our family in so many ways. We have never learned so much as we did by his sermons. He is HUMAN and we pray that he will return, as we need him!
Seems extreme to resign, the man is a scholar of scripture, not a saint, hope he ask God forgiveness, as well as wife and forgives himself, Get back to work Pastor Paul, your needed I forgot it all ready. Love ya
temptation is everywhere, and it can be difficult but noone is perfect. I know we held Pastor Paul to a higher standard, but he is still human. This a test of faith for us all. The enemy will try to use this to dishearten, discourage, and make us doubt the Word. The Word is still Truth and Pastor Sheppard was blessing because he delivered it with humor and understanding. he was a great teacher and that lit a fire under many. Don't let your fire go out!
I feel for Pastor Sheppard and his family. He now has to live with not only grieving his Lord but also those who looked to him for guidance! Yes he made the same mistake that David made and can be restored like David! God can even use Pastor Sheppard's mistake for good! None of us is above what has happened;" So if you think you are standing firm be carefuel that you don't fall" 1 Cor 10:12.
I agree.. it saddens me to see that many Christians have decided to throw Pastor Paul under the bus for what he did. Yes he messed up. But we shouldn't kick him when he's down. As believers we should pray that God have mercy on him and restore him back. Yes Pastor Paul should be held accountable for what he's done. But we also must be mindful of how we treat him during this ordeal. "Let he who thinks he stands take heed lest he falls" (1 Cor. 10:12) well said...
Well said!!! I appreciate Pastor Paul for his teachings on radio. We believers are one body. When one part of body gets hurt, the rest of body feels pain too. We need to pray for him and his family. I hope Pastor Paul forgive himself and come back. We are all sinners.
Unfortunately Paul Sheppard has forfeited trust and leadership by his "moral failure". His public ministry is OVER, leadership has been thrown away by his own hand. Of course he can be forgiven but leadership is over.
I with the sympathizers of Paul Sheppard. I feel for his ministry and his family as well. At least he didn't have to get caught on a hidden camera or be confronted by three or more witnesses at the church he preached for. If someone falls short and goes out of the way to tell and take resposnability, then the Holy Spirit does reside. Oterwise, it would mean he was a Pastor that never was. He might not pastor again, but he is a mortal sinning human like us all. I forgive him. :)
God bless, Pastor Shepherd and his ministry. Despite his mistake he is still a true man of God, I totally commend him for confessing his sins not only to God but to his listeners. We cannot condemn him. Just pray for him. His ministry has tremendously blessed me.
what happened with Pastor Paul? Iam very sorry he is not on the radio anymore! Now I have no one on the radio to inspire me.Pastor paul is still one of the best I have ever listened to! God Bless him and his family!!!!!!
Now I understand why he wanted ALCF to join the Willow Creek Association. Not trying to knock down Paul Shepherd but the truth is that it's hard to hear from God when you are living in sin. Downloading sermons from willow creek is much easier.
Pastor Paul Sheppard I pray God's devine healng upon you and the life of your family. The word of God tellsl us to lean not on the arm of flesh. Our responsility is to listen to and obey the word of God. We all fall short and the word of God says if any of us say we have not sin we are a liar and there is no truth in us. Pastor Shepppart God is a restorer let Him do that for you and your family. I look forward to hearing from you agin in the near future.
God revealed Pastor Paul's sin for a reason. God will forgive and forget. I pray his wife and family will forgive him. We have all sinned and come short.
Pastor Paul could not have endeared himself to me any more than he has now by practicing what he preaches. I know it is painful to many but man is he doing the right thing and traveling the right path from what I have read thus far. At this moment I am so proud of him. Peace
He has done the right thing as all God fearing men should do when they SIN. Things of this nature ARE NOT the PLAN of God...IMO even PP would not agree with this assessment, Do not minimize or spiritualize it but allow him to accept total and full responsibility for his action, It is the only way for him to gain a full and complete recovery. Complete acceptance of responsibility, tho painful is the only way to overcome. See YouTube It is enough! 1 Chr 21:17
I understand that he had to step down from his position as pastor due to his actions. What I don't understand is the website One Place not allowing one to still listen to or order his previous sermons. His teachings were very sound and to throw the baby out with the bath water is just not right. Look at David where would the Psalms be. I pray God will restore his family and that God will still guide his path. His teachings were a blessing to me especially the Kingdom First series. God Bless
He stepped down from Enduring Truth as well so that is the reason they are not allowing any more downloads or purchases. I hope that you can still download his podcast on Itunes and get some of his newer stuff.
@evangelistsantified i really enjoy pastor paul and turned on the radio only to find out he resigned. what happened? well, whatever happened i'll pray for this David season of his life.
I do to.. when I went to the website it stated he sent a letter to the church and it stated "moral failure".... I am still trying to get my hands around this who thing it seems like im in a nightmare... just shocking to say the least, I will continue to lift him and his family in prayer
That's not right and it's selfish. Paul Shepherd needs to get his house in order. It's not like he just got a speeding ticket okay? He needs to be healed and deal with his marriage. Pray for that but don't expect him to just keep preaching and act like nothing happened.
You're no better than the Pharisees that Jesus hated by you saying this. Pastor Paul is a HUMAN being but he is still a true man of God. It was admirable that he confessed his sin not only to God but to us his listeners. && the Bible says if you confess you are deemed righteous before the Lord.
I pray that during this season Pastor Paul would encourage himself with the words that He has encouraged me with down through the years.. and in his famous words "THIS IS A TRICK OF THE ENEMY" I PRAY THAT HIS REAL FRIENDS WILL STEP TO THE PLATE AND KEEP HIM LIFTED AND THOSE WHO CAN'T ROLL WITH HIM WHILE HE IS GOING THROUGH JUST LEAVE HIM ALONE...
I do not condemn his sin nor do I condone it. I do believe God has a plan for him and for our church and this is all part of it. Praise and glory to our true "Shepperd". I pray that Pastor Paul will be back and even more on fire for the Lord.
I couldn't not agree more with you man. God knows how to make everything better always. Adversity causes some people to break, but it also causes others to become record breakers. God Bless you all and keep your heads up, stay strong and pray for his family. It always gets better.
Just wanted to let you all know as a member of his church that he wrote a very heartfelt and what I believe to be repentant letter to our church. The fact that he came out with this when he had the choice to just disappear just shows that he is a humble man. I know I would not have been able to do that if I were in his shoes.
I've been blessed by Pastor Paul. Been giving regularly then my wife gave me the news. I was floored. I don't want to start any gossiping here but just want to know if this woman was a staff member or just some random woman. Porn is one thing but to actually have a physical relationship is just hardcore especially if one is sober. The decision making process must have totally broken down.
I believe Pastor Paul will return; anything can happen when you repent. He needs to accept that he has done wrong and ask for forgiveness. He is such a wonderful preacher. I just pray that the Lord will re-direct him.
I think where we fail is putting too much faith in men (women also). None of us were built to endure all the tests that life has and that God gives us.
We do not know what sins he has been struggling with all this time. He could have been overcome with pride. Based on some of the comments I read... I can see how he would fall in this arena. Man can easily get "puffed up" when the folks around him constantly give him honor and praise. That man will eventually start to say, "I am good aint I?"
My brother once told me "you cannot judge me." I responded: "Only God can judge you and me."We all fall short." Al Sharpton said, right on Youtube, " God calls all of us to do something, just not everybody is called to be a preacher." Paul Sheppard was born to preach. He is from a family of preachers. He is probably worn out and needs a rest.
I really agree with you. I think we should put it in Gods hands to do the judging. Pastor Paul has touched so many lives including mine. He has led many people to accepting Christ into their lives. But he also is a human just like us. Not Jesus, if you yourself have sinned. How can you talk down about another person that has also sinned. It say's in the bible their is no sin greater than another. I say God Bless him and his family. Lets pray for them and not judge him. Good comment Buckey
I have much respect for Paul Shep...but he has failed and he made a solid decision to step down. It makes you wonder how someone that seems so powerful get caught up in mess!
This is a tragedy, but extremely important that it happened. It reminds us (especially myself) that we have to be on constant alert, our armor has to be up always and never ever ever put your faith in a man.
We must not judge him harshly, but also not excuse his act. He will recover... no doubt.
Let me try again. Knowledge does not necessarily equal power. Power for righteous living is a combination of being filled with the Spirit and being lead by the Spirit relative to the word of God. No man is powerful in and of himself. Knowledge without application is nothing. The challenge is to be lead by the Spirit. Hope this helps and trust me I am praying for Pastor Paul as well. P.S. I am not the judge but I am a juror. I don't pass sentence but I can determine guilt. Think about it.
I am so confused about how could he stand in front of all us people and preach, knowing he was doing what he was doing. I've always had strong conviction when it comes to extamarital sex,but I have done it.And I cried and cried hard as everyone else took communion and I could not take it because of my sin. I am so confused,I love his sermens. Some of his best ones were on extramarital sex.We all fall short. But how could he do that? With a straight face? That's coldblooded.
Guilty of it yourself but your strong conviction did not stop you. You walked into the church with a straight face to listen to him preach with a straight face. Do I have that correct. We all are guilty, all of us. We are born of a sin nature, it is sin that comes easily for us not righteousness. His words were true they just did not apply to his life for the moment. If he was preaching false doctrine, now that is coldblooded, a person has no chance then. Keep your eyes on the good Lord.
Sinning does not change the bible nor what it says, it only changes the persons relationship with God and those whom they have sinned against, especially when it is discovered. Pastor Paul is wise hopefully he is seeking support from those who are wiser still.
On ALCF. ALCF is a special House of God. It is the vision in reality that I had prior to attending this church. multicultural Christians are the rule. Variety is the spice that livens up this church. It began in a non-descript little church in East Palo Alto, when it was THE HOOD. Believers , including Pastor Paul, built this church. It is built with iron, concrete and prayers and faith. There are 1700 plus lay ministers in this church: An Army of Saints working for the Lord.
ALCF is my church. I missed going on Sunday, 12/20/09. I will bre there next Sunday. I came there from one of his buddy's churches. I never joined ALCF. I stumbled across Pastor Paul's abrubt resignation on 12/20/09 on the ALCF web page. I felt like my brother just had a heart attack. He will be alright. He will rise again. He is a gifted preaching Bible teacher and church builder. But he is flesh and bones: A man. One subject to moral and other failures. Dear God: Bless Pastor Paul ans ALCF.
I only have one thing to say to people who want to judge Pastor Paul and it's not me saying this but God: 3"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.
Paul Sheppard has been removed from Bott Radio Network broadcasts due to "moral failure", as was reported this morning, 21 DEC 09....We are all moral failures, no doubt...We can be forgiven...No further explanation of his so called "moral failure" given...perhaps a "wandering eye"...Be careful not to put clowns like this on a pedestal...they will eventually fall.
You are not in Gods will, your attitude toward Pastor Paul is wrong. This Man is a Child of God....And he will be bless....Let he who have no sin cast the first stone. God Bless You
I enjoy listening to his messages, I suggested a co-worker to listen to him on ksiv bott radio in St. Louis, MO. I would suggest any and everyone to listen to Pastor Paul Sheppard they will be thoroughly blessed.
Pastor Paul is truly anointed by God for this. And i've listened to him on the radio many times and he has brought me much revelation to Gods word. God Bless u for putting this video on. And God Bless Pastor Paul too.
I listen to Pastor Paul Sheppard every day on my way to work at 4:30 pm . He has truly helped on my walk with Jesus. I suggest that you give to his ministry so that the Gospel can continue to spread throughout the Nation. You should give offering to those who give you enlightenment of the word of God. Amen I say to you all....Amen.
I am a 48 yr old Irish Catholic mother of 2 teens and always felt something missing from my church, not my faith. What was missing was the focus on the "Bible" God's Word! I found Pastor Paul on my local Philly radio am 1210 and now I listen at work on my computer too. I love how he presents the Word in a real way. He injects humor but doesn't let us make excuses...we ARE accountable. God continue to bless us with Pastor Paul. I will keep him in my prayers and thank God for this gift.
Pastor Paul is truly bless by Our Lord Almighty!! I listen to him on am1210 at 6pm on my way home from work. I find myself praising The Lord through God's Word from this Pastor.. May Jesus
Christ, continue to work in your life. Carmen Young from San Diego Calif.
Pastor Paul is awesome. Truly one who loves the Lord. I only hope he will start preaching to tell believers for the Return of Jesus Christ and prepare believers for life in the last days. Billy Graham's Evangelistic Association is beginning to do this and I hope Pastor Paul will do the same.
Thumbs up for Pastor Paul Sheppard!! Blessings to you AND your family. Peace and love. :)

Moral Failure/Crisis is "adultery no more no less.
caligirlforchrist 2 years ago
Of course God forgives, BUT we all must pay for our actions. Please don't ask for him to come back to preaching, that is OUT of the ?.

@29244102 I do not agree with your conclusion. I believe he can be an even more effective leader for the good people at ALCF

God Bless

That's not right and it's selfish. Paul Shepherd needs to get his house in order. It's not like he just got a speeding ticket okay? He needs to be healed and deal with his marriage. Pray for that but don't expect him to just keep preaching and act like nothing happened.
spider43 2 years ago
You're no better than the Pharisees that Jesus hated by you saying this. Pastor Paul is a HUMAN being but he is still a true man of God. It was admirable that he confessed his sin not only to God but to us his listeners. && the Bible says if you confess you are deemed righteous before the Lord.

That man will eventually start to say, "I am good aint I?"
gogetmymoney1 2 years ago
My brother once told me "you cannot judge me." I responded: "Only God can judge you and me."We all fall short." Al Sharpton said, right on Youtube, " God calls all of us to do something, just not everybody is called to be a preacher." Paul Sheppard was born to preach. He is from a family of preachers. He is probably worn out and needs a rest.
Buckeyecat2002 2 years ago 2

W4rr10r1 2 years ago
I am so confused about how could he stand in front of all us people and preach, knowing he was doing what he was doing. I've always had strong conviction when it comes to extamarital sex,but I have done it.And I cried and cried hard as everyone else took communion and I could not take it because of my sin. I am so confused,I love his sermens. Some of his best ones were on extramarital sex.We all fall short. But how could he do that? With a straight face? That's coldblooded.
Michaelscottsmom1 2 years ago
Guilty of it yourself but your strong conviction did not stop you. You walked into the church with a straight face to listen to him preach with a straight face. Do I have that correct. We all are guilty, all of us. We are born of a sin nature, it is sin that comes easily for us not righteousness. His words were true they just did not apply to his life for the moment. If he was preaching false doctrine, now that is coldblooded, a person has no chance then. Keep your eyes on the good Lord.
3phillup 2 years ago

Buckeyecat2002 2 years ago 2
