I've gotta say, it's been a long time since I played a FPS that I really liked. Space sims are the same; I remember really digging Freespace when it came out, but since then it's been mostly crap.

Back when Wing Commander IV came out I was really more of an X-Wing person; that was a gameplay thing, though. I am sheepish to admit this but I do like games with cheesy FMVs... I wouldn't dub these if I genuinely 'hated' them. They're hilarious.
