well, finally crashed mine after feeling fairly comfident. Broke the fly bar, of course, and nicked up the rotors. Just spent another 25 dollars on replacements of 4 rotors, 2 flybars, and 3 dogbone buckles.

does anyone know what's wrong with my battery 'cause it hasn't been used in a couple of months and when i was about to fly my helicopter i noticed that the battery was swelled up like hell?????

@BaWe59 Yeah , somehow the battery had been overcharged and it swelled. You should take it out and replace it cause if the aluminum gets ripped and as soon as the liquid makes contact with the air, the battery will catch on fire, the liquid will pour which is extremely hot melting everything. I had this happen to me once, I was like oh ok it's ok it's just a little swollen and I kept flying the heli, next time as I was charging it the battery caught on fire, it melted the canopy,and the carpet.

@GandaraVideos Are you taking off from a carpet or grass? Try a smooth surface or rev the throttle quicker to un snag the landing wheels

I would have thought that the extra weight might make ascending more difficult but if you don't get the paint on the rotors then it shouldn't change the flying.

actually, it is quite the opposite. the more channels it is, the harder it is to master flying

Check out some of Nightflyyer's helicopter videos. They will explain how RC Helis work. A brief example is that a 2 Channel helicopter can only go up, donw, left, and right. There are only 2 controls on the transmitter. On the left side, it controls the helicopter's throttle, which allows it to go up and down, and on the right side, the control that allows the heli to yaw left and right. Take my advice and check out the How to fly RC helicopter videos for Nightflyyer. They will explain a lot.

It's a kind of batteries... Lipo is it's chemistry... It means Lithium Polymer and it's the same kind of batteries used in cell phones today!!!
