@guilmon981 You misunderstood my line of logic. I meant to say "Being a replica, your only enemy would only be the ATC soldiers, but rather than taking this choice of action, Monolith has you playing a rogue replica, which makes the expansion more interesting."

And I originally played Extraction Point on the P.C. I only used footage from the XBOX version because I didn't feel like reinstalling it.

I picked this up during the Steam sale because it was only $2.50 and I finished it in about an hour. At its full price of 10 dollars though - that is not worth the money and this was obviously a cash grab instead of just having a little story interlude at the beginning of F.E.A.R. 3 to explain how Fettel comes back. While the game was fun, it didn't bring anything new to the table (oh, except a player character who actually speaks). FINALLY, not to be rude, but you sound like a F.E.A.R. fanboy.

@9PRELUDE2 The expansion doesn't have multiplayer and F.E.A.R. 2's multiplayer has no players whatsoever.

I'm tired of people complaining about the add-ons. The first one had some new weapons, new levels, and a continued story - WTF more do you want from an add-on? All the even more new stuff they put in Perseus Mandate, that's what. And as far as story goes, Perseus Mandate has you play as a new guy, you're part of FEAR's B-team, and you gotta kill a bunch of mercenaries kicking in ATC's door to steal Alma and Paxton's DNA samples. It was fucking cool, I don't care what you think.

Systems shock 2 is probably one of the scariest games on pc I ever had the honor of playing. If you like horror Fps or Bioshock then you will love System shock 2.

It should promise excellency. According to another person commenting a FEAR2 review video Monolith was able to acquire title F.E.A.R back much later than you would initially expect. It seems F2 was pretty much done as a game the point the rights for the title were bought, obsoleting the idea of using Point Man or F.E.A.R units as it was late.

We now have an awesome and above all RARE sidestory. Point Man from F1 is still out there, and the F.E.A.R unit just awaits a storyline to be executed.

I agree. It is a good thing they took the horror elements out...simply because they weren't effective in the first place. FEAR is an awesome shooter, probably the best i ever played. Weapons feel right and powerful, the pace is great, and the settings look convincing. The story aspects however never were the game's strong suit. for a so called horror game, it was remarkably unscary...lots of blood, yes. A psychic zombie General, yes. But that didn't make it scary. Hope FEAR 3 delivers on story.

I have a 9800 GTX with 512 Mbs of RAM

I have 4 Gbs of RAM

And I have an Intel Dual Core Processor @ 2.4 Ghz

I use a Macintosh Monitor because they're really good moniters.
