  • I love learning/speaking/hearing/reading japanese :$

  • watashi getoru mo rara gcishu , metherarha

  • In your other video you stated see you or bye is just mata ne, whats the significance of the jaa.

  • @KingoftheGods123 jaa means see you

  • Watashi mo Rara, watashi mo genki desu.

  • When in ohio, one says OHAYO GOZAIMASU!!!!

  • @picklegirl192837465 Watashi wa eigo ga tatta no hanashimasu. I believe.

  • Aho is like "fool"

  • @Justbeneathfailure no that bakara or baka

  • @naruto2710 Baka is stupid. Fool is different. Aho.

  • helpful :)

  • How do you swear in Japanese? =D

  • @DreadRaptor85 baka!!!

  • @DreadRaptor85 well, I only know one technical swear word in Japanese, but I don't really think it's too offensive if your with people you know well and it's in Kansai dialect. "Aho". It's kinda like "baka" but more closely like "a-hole"

  • @DreadRaptor85 FUZAKURUNA!!!

  • learning Japanese is quite easy for me.i just have to learn it a bit more and i think i can do it well. the reason behind this is my mother tongue is very very hard. I believe if anyone can learn my mother tongue other languages won't be hard to pronounce. my mother tongue is actually Mizo. i am sure most of you never heard of it. it is spoken by the people of Mizoram state in north east india. the people there have Chinese looking face like me. people never believe that i am indian.

  • 'Basic' OH! This'll be EASY!

    *insert japanese words here*

    0. o shit. This is gonna be harder than i thought.....

At least the others were easier! (Aside form Goodnight...)

  • @The1GreatEscape with learning languages we put them from level 1 to 5 of difficulty. japanese would be a 5

  • We all want to be Japanese ! :D

  • @iiMusicxD no, only you. although i am interested in learning japanese.

  • @iiMusicxD Oh well still it must be great to be Japanese !

  • "bai bai" is definitely the hardest... xD

  • @lili9000c i kno right XD

  • lol this is what my teacher was showing me in class XD I LOVE IT!

  • i learned most of my japanese from tokyo mew mew...

but at least i can speak some of it...

  • @Samiinaction Yh i got most of what I know from anime aswell :) (not tokyo mew mew though cos when i watched it I was only like 8 and was watching the dubbed)

  • @AnimeLiam oh yeah. just learned a whole lot more from bleach XD

  • Seems like any male that tries to learn it will almost inevitably speak the language like a Japanese female.

  • i like the presentation short ad simple will help me to communicate with friends :D

  • Make learning Japanese as easy as possible with this comprehensive course, check out our videos - youtube.com/watch?v=wfseANZtMNg

  • bai bai is the only thing that I can remember :l

  • Has "bai bai" just come from English or is an actual japanese phrase they just happens to be similar?

  • @hohisuduku it comes from English, that's just katakana

  • i am taking classes in japanese at the end of this month. cant wait!

  • japanese seems fun to learn.

  • lolz ive been wrting bai bai to say by to my friends XD i didnt no it was japanese and it still meant bai bai :3 lolz this is helpful

  • @xXGothicNekoxX It's more like Japanese people saying goodbye in a cool way? An english word that has been japanified. :p

  • why is jaa said before saying mata ne? what is it there for?

  • bai bai LOL

  • i already knew all those greetings from watching animes :) learn alot 4rm listening to japanese all the time :)

  • @xXiiluffyhooXx I know it's so funny!!!

  • @xXiiluffyhooXx If you learn Japanese from Anime you will probably not be as polite in Japan as if you learned it from a textbook. :p

  • @thejapanshop How to start our learning Japanese ? What i need for this ?

  • @quni11 Textbook, Pen, Japanese Grammar book and lots of disipline. :-)

    alagarsamy

  • Just wondering- is 'wa' a kind of reflex thing since it's in 'konnichi wa' and in some other questions? Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated since I'm a total beginner! :)

  • Actually, "wa" is a particle, like "is" for English.

  • @noellekuwashima actually wa is usually before the subject of the sentence... well... that's what i learned... :")

  • @RawrCutiee

-wa is a particle after the subject of the sentence.

  • @noellekuwashima not at all.. it merely identifies the subject of the sentence.. there isnt really any english equivalent

  • this is awesome, it really helped me to write it too! :)

  • i want to learn more...:))

  • this didnt help much but thanks i learned somwhat

  • Japanese is the language I love to hear the most-and yearn to speak it when I hear it

especially from a woman- it is so soft and feminine~ it's like they round their sentences out with a smile!

  • @nikkiwhite40 i agree with u

  • honto ni sugoi

  • HAI!!

  • [correction]

    Japanese girls ga suki !!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • woops, "nihonjin kanojo ga suki!!!!" I think

  • "kanojo" = "she" or "girlfriend (recent casual expression) "

In your case these sentense would be correct way .

a: "nihonjin no kanojo ga hoshii !!!!"

    ( = I want japanese girlfriend !!!!)

b: "nihonjin no josei ga suki !!!!" "nihonjin no onnna-no-ko ga suki !!!!"

    (= I like japanese girl / women !!!!)

  • Baka o.o

  • watashi wa nippon go zyouzu desu ne demo nihongo chotto muzukashi desu .. shikashi omoshirooooooi

means : im studying japanese . . but japanese is a bit difficult . however its so interesting

  • when you say watashi wa nippon, you are saying that you are japanese, not studying japanese

  • u sure? i think watashi ha nippon means i m japan and if u want to say i m a japanese u should say nihonjin desu or watashi ha nihonjin desu.correct me if i m wrong.

  • ur rite!

  • jaa, mata ne is like, well then, see you soon or, see ya tomorrow, not bye

  • Of where im from, we get alot of people from Japan, so learning words like that is helpful. Thank u lots for posting this =D

  • good morning is OHAYU GOZAIMAS(U)

'Hello' konichiwa is for the rest of the day

evening is konbanwa. it's pretty cool.

  • "Moshi moshi" is for when you speak on the telephone. It's more equivalent to "speaking, speaking" than "hello".

  • Or when someone spaces out.

  • I don't know where you got this information...

Mushi means insect or ignore and bushi is samurai. Also if you say fushi bushi, that means joints. Maybe you can use it only when your joints hurt 'Fushi bushi ga itamu'.

  • Im 13 and these video are really helpful, arigatou. And hopefully, when i take world English next semester i can take Japanese

  • there are many perverts online please do not write your age. you have no idea what kind of sickos could be reading your comment.

  • good idea.I had a guy say he wanted to do somthing to me before online......it wasnt comfortable

  • Can you just say "jaa ne"? I thought that's what they said in animes but I no sure bai bai

  • Never learn Japanese through anime, the characters don't speak as Japanese people do in real life.

  • Ah thx^^

  • At the first one Goodmorning i think u can just say Ohayou ^^ Please tell me if its wrong ^^

  • from what i've learned just "ohayou" would be used for family and close friends and you would add the "gozaimasu" when greeting like a neighbor or an acquaintance

  • Yeah, gozaimasu is when you want it more formal.

  • jaa mata ne!!!

  • the first was kinda had ^_^

  • WONDERFULL SO EASY SO SIMPLE

  • bai bai!

  • Konnichi Wa!

  • SUper helpful i fav all your basics its helped sooooo much now time for full phrases and learning other words =(

  • ohayou gozaimasu is polite, can i also say konnichi wa gozaimasu?

  • Domo konnichiwa. :)

  • ama

  • i can say the smal words .but NOT the big ones.sorry im just learing!

  • also what does he mean by ''good night before parking''

    parking?

    cant you say it anytime

  • Perhaps you mean that I mean, "Parting"

  • @Xgloomshadow he says parting not parking

  • by adding goziamasu it makes it more polite

could be used for people u dont know that well

    more formal talk

  • ok why is it ohayou gozaimasu(good morning) in this vid and in the other vid its ohayou??

  • Gozaimasu is just a way to make it polite, plain Ohayou is a simple common way to say it

  • oooh

  • LOL.. xD

  • nanda yo, kore?

  • arigatou gozaimasu to this

  • fantastick

  • Why when "ohayou gozaimasu" is said it just sounds like "ohayou gozaima"?

  • It's a silent 'u' like in the word 'like' you don't pronounce the e. ^__^

  • Ahh, thank you.
