  • You did well with this. great insight into the fact that energy is all around us.

  • Further proof that people don't understand the concept of zero point energy. The effort required to hold to plates apart for the Casimir effect equals the force pushing the plates together. X = Y, no net gain.

  • @LiamXaoh the walls of my house hold the roof apart from the ground fine without any effort lol

  • @OtagoMark - no they don't. LOL

  • @LiamXaoh Yer they do...No energy input rewuired

  • @OtagoMark - you are confused. You said "effort" - the walls provide a counteracting force to the load (force of gravity) of the roof. Nothing to do with energy.

  • @LiamXaoh I was pointing out how you were wrong with that analogy... the casimir effect show that zero point energy exists, parrallel plates arent a model for an energy device as you seem to think they are. so you post with x=y is a nonsense, show yourr lack of understanding ... no run along and eat your rice pudding

  • @OtagoMark - given your shit spelling and grammar "parrallel [sic] plates arent [sic] a model for an energy device as you seem to think they are. so you [sic] post with x=y is a nonsense, show [sic] yourr [sic] lack of understanding ... no [sic] run along and eat your rice pudding".

I assume you are racist wanker to boot so why don't you go back to jerking off with your sister's undies on your head instead being a prat?

  • @LiamXaoh typos, you've made a few yourself. You were being a wanker to begin with, so I was being a wanker back..its not racism so calm down....

"Further proof that people don't understand the concept of zero point energy. The effort required to hold to plates apart for the Casimir effect equals the force pushing the plates together. X = Y, no net gain."

Yep, a wanker post I think...before correcting my spelling and grammar first check your own. also you last post make no grammatical sense

  • @OtagoMark - I watched the video and commented on it accordingly. I'm allowed to make the occasional type as I struggle with English grammar as I have learned from only 4 years ago, whereas you don't have much of a grasp.

Remember there is no prize for second place.

The reference to rice was racist. I've had to deal with wankers like you most of my life and so you get what you deserve.

This is my last response to you because now you are being childish.

  • @LiamXaoh Why is rice racist?? you're American. Anyway... your post was wong and arrogant.

  • @LiamXaoh I think the point is that the casimir effect shows zero point energy exists rather than holding plates apart to extract energy...this you misunderstand. X & Y ≠ 0 :O)

  • @OtagoMark - I was pointing out you were incorrect with your wall/roof analogy. You need to acknowledge that and learn to move on. LOL

  • Interesting video. I wonder if it is possible to extract the vacuum energy or not. I suppose it might be impossible to violate conservation of energy though.

  • 1:25 yes theoretically solid helium melts at 0 kelvins, pretty awesome stuff, it's own zero point motions will not let it become a crystal!
