And i know its hard to write alot of good material but how does a band lose their filter to weed out songs like this...plus its their fucking JOB! Bert used to be the most badass, "didnt give a shit what people thought" kind of dude, and now he just sounds so soft and uncaring...these are just my opinions obviously

A lot of people would disagree with you. Maybe it's their job, but did you ever think of the fact that people write lyrics based on the experiences they're going through? If you don't like this album, then tough. If you don't like all of the songs by The Used, then you're not a true fan. And what about their manager? I bet you didn't realize that the manager has the most say in what kind of music is written. Bert has said this in the past.

Focus on what you like, and don't give up on The Used. They were (and in my opinion still are) an amazing band, don't ever forget that :)

Also "Blood on My Hands" is pretty intense in general with its vibe, the album is good just listen to it a couple times with an open mind and you'll like it alot better.

I miss song writing from these guys, like blue and yellow and maybe memories such intense passionate songs, it seems like now they are writing the music to berts melodies as opposed to before when they first started Bert made melodies to the music I'm sure it wasn't that Black and white but yeah the creative process has changed too much for my liking , no disrespect still a great band great vocalist, songs just don't have the same feel.
