well u can take sharm in 2 ways...1) u can take advantage of every fun experiance offered, i.e clubbing and chatting with the hotel workers who are soo friendly, or alternatively you can just sit in the 'fuking' hot sun and be bored. Y would you compare it to somewhere cold like London??

Me and my friend were in sharm in november.we stayed in sharm holiday resort. it is a really nice place.People clean and tidy your room everyday, you can choose what to eat from much delicious things :)Firstly, I would advise you to not spend you all money first days(like we did:) because later you will see prices and how small it can be if you learn to deal with those people.Local agencys offer much cheaper excursions than agency with which we came.

We were in Cairo, few museums and saw pyramids, but I would advise you to go dive because it is really unforgetable. Don't let in long talks with local people,because sometimes being friendly leads to empty pockets ;) And try to visit beach which is not crowded, I think you need to find a bus. That is what I would do if I came back. That's all I think..so.good luck :)

Hi people. I'm going to Sharm el Sheikh for the first time and staying at the Pyramisa Resort. Has anybody heard about this resort as I've read reviews and some people are saying it's rubbish whereas some people are saying it's excellent. I really want to go but I'm worried about where I'm staying. Or if anyone could recommend a hotel or resort that was good, that would be helpful. We went to Sharm in Feb 2007. The best holiday I've had. Yes, I got offered camels for my daughter, and even for my partner, but it was all meant in fun, and we all took it that way.

Regarding the shops, you do get fed up of constantly being asked to 'just look' but we never had any problem not buying. The locals just accepted it.
