it's great that the whole aesthetic of the game is based around smb1 but has some interesting puzzle elements that you'd never see in any of the early smb games, like giving enemies power-ups that make them so large they break through the floor! genius

I know this is really late, but if anyone wants to know how to beat it truly, when you get to the poison mushroom and throwing guy don't hit the mushroom just the guy and when the guy goes onto the jump thing you want to jump onto his head so he throws you over the top of the map and you run to the right. easy peasy lemon squeezy
