The left figure IS a person. The other two are not. This could be a ghost place. As in the ghostly galaxy in the first game, had Pikmin ghosts in the sky. But this is creepy. Look at the picture at 4:21. Below it is a cloud of smoke, obviously being the ghosts of the people who comitted suicide off of BeyondHellsValley. Im definetly not going to Shiverburn every AGAIN! The cliff is "BeyondHellsValley" and the Figures are "BeyondHellsValleyTree"

Hmm, close up in High quality, they're ghosts though. They look a bit similar to the strange texture in Mario Galaxy 1, Called "DeathGhost"

They are Unknown so far though.

I think they were meant to be part of an unused level in the game. Either you had to get advice from them, or battle them. The level could've been called, "The Top of the Cliff".

I thought it was the luigi's manion logo but cut off from the top so you could only see the tip of the L and the two dots from the i's but after googling a picture of the logo the first i was farther away from the L and the 2nd dot seems to be connected. I think its a hint that shroobs will come to another game. in sunshine there was book that hinted paper mario ttyd and a trainset in galaxy that brought up spirit tracks. nintendo doesn't make their hints that clear, but shroobs might reappear.

In Bowser's Star Reactor there are some weapons that shoot fire,but they are red F.L.U.D.D fire spitting nozzles.A lot of mario games have references to other mario games,and i even found a Sonic one.They're exactly like the Luigi's Mansion letters from the logo,i saw in the internet that Shigeru Myiamoto wanted to cut off some story,and they would make part of the story,or they're Shroobs,Ghosts or a Luigi's Mansion 2 Preview. O.o.

@superdrybones1000 thats impossible, in SMG2 there isn't any red star power up, and that things are in the background, there is nothing solid there, they will keep the same distance from the player...

@GilWanderley2455526 Uh, actually, using the Red Star power-up is possible. Right now only hacks are used to obtain that power-up. A lot of people say it's because Galaxy 2 uses the same engine as Galaxy 1, so I guess the developers forgot to delete the Red Star power off the disk for good.

But you're right on the second part, so I wouldn't bother trying to fly up there either.
