pretty sure it's an american strat... which model? i dunno... i'm a strat lover and own two. as I use the trem, my favorite is the strat plus. I have an 88 maple neck and a 93 rosewood. Suggest you check out that model. Not so highly desired so the price is good. The pickups are terrible but once replaced, you have a fine guitar that stays in tune through all kinds of abuse.
i was also wondering, i'm trying to pick up philby by ear as i dont use tabs much, i was wondering if you could tell me what the chords were during the short break in the song before the sitar solo, where he sings'' four o'clock and nothings moving etc..'' many thanks .good lesson.
Reckon it was played in "E" originally for a bit of a rest whilst using the open strings during the main riff! Of course, later, Mark could not benefit from this!!
To be sure, I could do with a refresher on the solo as it was on Live in Europe. Anyone willing to oblige?
excellent...Roy...Just like Rory giving lesson...Except for the hair :-)

Great sound and technique, but to say true your style is close to Hendrix or SRV techniques.
