@comedycreator100 Firstly, it's epic because it's different (it has a unique story, and cleverly incorporates the characters and story from Alice. Secondly it has strong morals that anyone can relate to.
To be honest I think you just said why it didn't particularly make him look bad, he got the wrong version of the story. Like everyone else in the book, he didn't believe her. What you should be saying is that it makes the human population look bad, because nobody believed her.
@comedycreator100 again, you just agreed with my point. 'Nobody would'. Therefore it's not making him look bad. Because 'no one' did. And it's nice for you to give one example of a character, and besides your point of characters being cliche is a bit of a fail. The characters are not only what makes it unique. The story, the different view on a classic, the idea of imagination being a weapon etc. All of these come together to show a different and good story.
@Euanbuddie Also the reason I dont like this book was because his main reason to write this book was to mock the story not to entertain his teen audience.
Thats why he made the author of Alice in Wonderland into such a jerk.
@comedycreator100 I'm afraid you're wrong there. There are these things called jobs that people have. And this so happens to be his. He wants to make money, and to do that he must make it entertaining. So yes, it is to entertain an audience.
And I must say again, that he makes everyone look like a jerk because NOBODY LISTENS TO HER! Not just him. EVERYBODY! He had to make sure that the story tied in with life facts, otherwise you would be saying. 'Well it isn't right historically'.
@comedycreator100 The morals of this book are; never change to suit those around you, good prevailing over evil, never giving up without a fight and there being a child within us. The list goes on.
@comedycreator100 lol, and once again, guess what you've just done...proved my point. Read my last comment, I said, 'i didn't say that the morals are original, What morals really are?'. And if these morals don't make you think after a book then you obviously didn't get it. And finaly sayton 'There Are tones of morals he could have picked out'. Well that's like going to a fruit stand and buying an apple. Then your mate saying, why did you buy an apple? The same would happen whether you had...
@comedycreator100 ...bought an orange, strawberry or pear. It is a coincidence. Or perhaps he enjoyed these morals and wanted to put them across through the form of a novel.
the looking glass wars is really bad.
they make lewis caroll like a bad guy.

@comedycreator100 no there not, they're epic. It doesn't really make him look bad.
Euanbuddie 10 months ago
@Euanbuddie Yes they do.
He was the bad guy for making a fake version of her real story.
She saw him like a traitor for betraying her.
thats why they make him look bad.
Also may I ask why this book is epic?

@Euanbuddie Just because a book is unique does not mean it is good
and also what morals.....
Honestly would you believe a girl that tells you that she has been exiled from her world of magic and wonder?
No one would Alice was just stupid enough to believe that they would believe her and somehow tried to help her.
The characters are also very cliche for example
Dodge: father dies turning him into a souless character
been there done that
