  • brooklyn brooklyn

    the best in NY City

  • Wow, I don't see any white hipster yuppie transplant guys with beards or hipster girls with granny dresses in this video, it almost looks like a real Brooklyn neighborhood!

  • hahah TRUTH!!

  • this is still the good brooklyn

  • @smackitupNflipit Hah tell me about it. Greenpoint's just about been consumed by those people you describe.

  • @smackitupNflipit 'cause it's not williamsburg!!!

  • @smackitupNflipit YESS!!! i know... All these fucking yuppies need to get the fuck out. Go back across the river to Manhattan and leave Brooklyn back to its real New Yorkers. Fucking Yuppies. Thats why when they go out at night and get jumped, they now know what they are dealing with.

  • @smackitupNflipit knickerbocker still look like that though... you gotta couple that walk down but there aint much for them on knickerbocker... and i hope it stays that way...

  • @smackitupNflipit it is a real bk neighborhood

  • @smackitupNflipit This is not a real Brooklyn neighborhood. The neighborhood was 'real' back in the 1960's before the manufacturing jobs left and 'white flight'. People on welfare started moving in and rather than taking care of the neighborhood they contributed to the decline that lasted over 30 years. People dislike the hipsters but when they move in they revitilize the area. Then others start crying that their being pushed out.

  • i grew up on troutman n knickerbocker back in 97....shit was the hood forreal

  • this area has become a toilet bowl.

  • obviously you don't know what Bushwick has become. Ppl from the city now live in bushwick. bye hater

  • obviously you are mistaken. i been connected to bushwick for more than 40 years. i knew it what that area use to be known as ridgewood, bklyn. it was once a great neighborhood with a alot of industry to go along with it. i am not a hater. you think because you come from the "city" & open a "cafe" is going to make much of a difference. you are a curiosity.

  • Well no dear I was born and raised in Bklyn. Born and bred. I was born in the Williamsburg area and then moved to Bushwick. It is only a few blocks difference. I am not from the city nor do I owe a cafe. There was a lot of factories. They still exist but unfortunately people have lost their jobs and it has been converted to high paying lofts. I am curious to know why do say it is a toilet bowl. What drastic changes have you seen. Obviously you thought it looked way better.

  • it was working -class neighborhood, not a welfare commune. the people had great pride & respect. it had culture-festa, etc. do you understand that, DEAR!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow, I didn't no the word "Dear" would be so offensive. I was merely being sarcastic. It wasn't for you to take umbridge. No I am not arguing that point.I couldn't agree more with you. Yes it was a working class and that makes a world of a difference. Back in those days even when people were on welfare you couldn't tell because the women were housewives and took care of their children. Those days were 100 times better, but I still won't consider it a tiolet bowl.

  • If you want to go to a great site go into bushwickbuddies it has a lot of history, old folks and old photographs. Perhaps you will enjoy it. I most certainly do. It has pictures of all over Myrtle, knickerbocker,Wilson,High land park. Great site.
