your story is so inspiring. I am expecting my first child and sometimes i keep thinking the worse. Your video helped me to believe. I wish you all the best with your children. Jackson is adorable.
I was born with gastrosesis, it is when your babies organs are hanging out of my belly when i was born. i had to get flown out to a city as soon as i came out. (without my mom) I thought when i was able to have kids they would come out the same way. I have my first child at 27 years old and he is 2 1/2 months old and perfectly healthy. So god was on my side too.
I'm happy your boy recovered from his complications. You have a beautiful family. <3
He has to be on constant antibiotics to prevent a potential kidney infection. On Oct. 28th he is going in for a urodynamics test to see if the reflux is still present. I'm praying for complete healing of this condition. Because he has so much scar tissue from the many catheters in the ICN he has to go to the operating room so they can use a scope to get a catheter in. Through all of this though we know that the Lord has it all under control and that there is a grand plan in place.
Enjoyed watching your video! So happy to hear about the Lord's healing on Jackson :) God is so good! My son was born with multiple birth defects (missing right leg hip, horse shoe kidneys, shortened spinal cord, scoliosis etc). He also had to have surgery upon birth to perform a colostomy. I'm quite familiar with the catheterization in the ICN due to the fact that my son wasn't emptying his bladder properly (nerve issues with bladder). He also had a kidney reflux where his urine goes backwards.
My little cousin had to get that hole into her belly too, but hers is because she
has undergone so many surgeries that she can't pee out where she's supposed to pee anymore. She was adopted from China and had many problems with her. Sad thing is she's only six and has had so many surgeries :(
@MissClavelle Jackson luckily escaped the potential hole placed in his belly. His second surgery corrected the problem and he is okay and able to urinate normally! Now he is going through the healing process from the stress/ injury of having all that fluid backed up in utero.
@jjandjake She is actually doing very well! I don't think she has even had a surgery since last year. And she is a very happy and playful little girl:)
@Jessizh He's doing great! Just had his first birthday...working his way toward walking, laughs all the time. He's very happy and his body has been doing a great job healing. He is still closely followed by his kidney doctor and on still some supplementation, but really doing well!
May God Almighty bless you and yr family...thanks alot for yr touching response..felt really great..I'll let you know what happens in my life later on..remember me in yr prayers!I need em!
YOU ARE SO BLESSED! It is so funny how I came across this video, I just uploaded a video of my son, Jackson, who reunited with 5 of his NICU-mates to help celebrate one of their 1st birthday parties. Your video played directly after mine. Thank you for sharing this. We are so blessed to have our miracle babies!! :)
Just shed into tears after watchin yr video..God is Great no doubt..I'm 17years old and a patient of Rheumatoid arthritis, continous backpain and PCOS(polycystic ovarian syndrome) doctors have told me that if i do not get married before 19 I wouldn't ever be a mother.I feel very hopeless..cry alot.I love babies twins rather but cant help the depression I'm going through.I request all of you who so ever reads my comment to pray for me.Kindly pray for me.I no more feel myself like a girl.
@lilprpmami Thanks for the very kind words....We really appreciate all the positive words, thoughts, and prayers for our little guy and our family! :)
