it doesn't cost that much if your an existing at&t customer. I have an iphone and instead of paying 60$ a month i only pay 30$ because i was already an AT&T customer before i got the iphone.

correction, you only pay $30 more than before. That 30 is relative, not absolute. You are not paying "just" 30.

Your logic is WAY off, why are you multiplying the price of the phone + 24 months times 30? You should be multiplying the plan!

$30 data plan multiplied by 24 months (or 2 years of the contract). I am an Iphone user and love it. I will get the new one, but it is very expensive. And "half the price" is quite misleading. Maybe "half the initial price." And Davidmess, before write things like "your logic is WAY off," you should really review your understanding of mathematical order of operations. 200 + 24 * 30 means 199 initial price plus the term 24 months times 30 dollars per month.
