Sydney is full arseholes.... but as Paul says, when the rain has just fallen in the evening and you're heading down William Street heading towards Kings Cross, it truly does look just like a Post Card. Kings Cross would not be the same without the Coca Cola sign giving the whole place a red tinge.... appropriate really ;)

One of those songs that brings back so many memories personally, and tugs at the heartstrings in a unique way. I think it's these lines:

(and for anyone who ever truly called Melbourne home, I'd say that's a pretty fair trade!)

What Billy Joel did for New York City with "New York State of Mind", I think Paul Kelly does for Melbourne with this song.

I had the chance to watch Paul Kelly in live while I was living in London in the 90's. The atmosphere was amazing, a hundred of australians and a couple of spanish (me and my girlfriend ... where is she now?) Anyway, the concert will keep in my mind 4 ever.
