why does everyone make her out to be so bad? She's just expressive, and she does things other people are afraid to do, not necessarily things people don't want to do. Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
But she doesn't take drugs, or drink heavily, yes she smoked, but who didn't back then? Besides, she doesn't know. She's a smart woman, everybody! Can't anyone comprehend that?
Hard to believe that this interview is almost 20 years old! I can remember watching this on tv as a kid. She was amazing then...and she is amazing now!
it s so funny to see how she s credible in the end of her virgin tour as a "young girl" for her audience which was mostly teen girls in those years - her daddy draggin her offstage.
she was actually in her late TWENTIES when she rose to superstardom!
today the girls shooting to stardom are kids, teens.. and see what it makes of them in most cases! i wished the entertainment industry had confined itself to promotin only GROWN personalities as madonna was at that time and not abuse kids..
that's what allowed her to have longevity in her career. because she was really old enough to understand her image choices and how people would react to it. where as now when they have like 16 - 18 year olds experimenting with their sexual identity and image, they are just too young. they are still children. plus madonna has worked hard for what she has because it is what she really wants, not what some executive at disney thinks she'd be good for. that's why she's been at the top for so long.
Yes, no drugs for Madonna!
