@bundoranboy1 ya lots of songs are based off three chords.. G ,C,D are all chords used in a variety of songs..then when you're comfortable start building chords off the basic open chords. having fun is the most important part..and one thing ive noticed is that i get better more quickly when i try learing songs that are harder than im capable of playing, usually you will learn new techniques. or forced to learn.
fantastic! i've been doing this for a couple of years, just an "upgrade" of a scale, when you get good at it, crank up the distortion and play it fast, you'll be amazed!!!
