Hallo, mein Name ist Andrej Ich komme aus Mazedonien, und ich leben derzeit in Edmonton, Alberta, Kanada, und ich bin ein Segelflieger und ich frage mich, wie viel kostet das Flugzeug Kosten / Modell?
@telecasterbear it's a canadian unit of measurement called metre. It's also used by other countries in the world as a standardized unit of measuring distances. Hope that helped.
@glavonjagrob Hi, I would like to watch you taking off in that distance. I think you could do it if the front wind is at about 60 mph, by this way, the wind will takie you off. I'll watch your vids later. Thanks.
@mrcheuk40 Look at that windsock at the beggining. It's almost fully inflated, which, depending on type, can indicate +20 kts. Judging by the quick takeoff, I would say the head wind was 20 to 25 kts with gust up to 30. Hell, just about any small plane could accomplish a STOL.
The airplane has a very low take off speed that's all. It would be shorter, if the pilot would hold the brakes, apply full power, keep full power for a few seconds and then release the brakes.
Light wing loading, good airfoil design, lots of power, and a good pilot. The parking lot takeoff is my favorite. He's up in about 4 car widths! Amazing.
Well, this aircraft is a VLA, with very high lift. And, moreover the wind is very strong (at least 30 kts accordingly to the wind-sock) and it may have used the ground effect, so no wonder he took off that short.
To the right of this chat box it says "your reaction" What was yours at 4:24?quick duck to the ground, lol. Looks like a close wing/head tappin pass, lol.
Not that impressive, The aircraft has an aprox 40 Knot takeoff speed.. so in a 20 to 30 knot headwind this is very doable and easy. Looks like a riot though! great for training.
i bet with two people i wouldnt perform like this, but is good for who one wants to feel power and have some emotions, and about the weather, is getting worse, there´s coming a cold front.
