I'm re-re-reading the book and needless to say it has impacted not just my playing, but my life.

I play guitar and write music since the age of 12. I meditate since the age of 22. Now I am 56 years old. I have never been practicing and training my guitar because I did not understand the purpose of... life. (and therefor also the purpose of training)

Lately I started working on a new musical project. I also understood finally, only a few years ago, what is the purpose of life. Since then I started to practice my guitar skills...

I bought the book a few years ago and it has completely changed my life, i've been playing guitar for almost 8 years right now and can already cover songs I only dreamed of playing before. It also helped me master everything I do in life. Anyone who likes tho think and has a curious nature will reach the sky after reading his book.

It's so great to hear the truth from such a sage. "To think outside the box, you have to - sort of, think outside of Jazz".

Jazz has been compartmentalized by the media and fearful musicians. Musicians that have been afraid to be themselves, play their "own" ideas.

I've been there and I know it's not easy sometimes. Kenny unfogs the mirror so that we can see the reality of our musical situation, see who we really are.
