i wanna see the indicator they use to true this thing up and for that matter the mag base too lmao if its anything like the machine youd need a crane to move it ......(by the way this is sarcasm just in case anyone doesnt get it)
I ran a lathe that was used to make shafts used in presses in a Steel Mill. Once you set you tool to cut then you rode along with it all the way down. It took over 3 hours to make a pass. I also bored a hole in a giant universal coupling that was so big when it was finished I walked through the hole without bending my head down. The part weighed 3,1/2 tons.
Accually. he's machining the lamination of the electric motor rotor. The rotor was rebuilt with new lamination and rotor bars and end rings. The Skoda was made in Chech-Republic.

Being a Skoda, it will be a good 'un. The Czechs make nice machine tools

In original, it is Škoda, not Skoda. Word Škoda is in English damage, or wrong.

@attainableapex I think he meant Micrometer
GeneralG1810 9 months ago
@bushputz
Micrometers that size do exist, although I think they would use stationary gauging and measure the radius of the rotor.
