trease78 - my husband tells me the Vantrease family sold their land to Johnny Cash many, many years ago and moved to Texas where they still are. My husband and I now live in AL where I am from. Small world. My grandmother was a Terry before she married and we attend the family reunion in TN every summer. I think it's in Aug. Maybe we can meet up sometime.

pretty good kid. all the vantreases r full of talent and destined for greatness. i just happened to search my last name"VANTREASE" and found u. im from a little north of nashville ,TN and theres quite a clan of us up here. im sure were all related somewheres down the line.keep doin us vantreaes proud .
