i made my old stampede into a 4 wheel drive with a emaxx 4wd set up and then i put wheelie king suspension on it and and it sets like 8 inches off the ground because i put clod axles on it and alum drive shafts nice vid
I'm thinking about converting my T4 into a rock crawler. do u think i can do that? and if i can what will i need to do and what parts will i need to convert it? thank you.
I wouldn't waste your time. There are too many budget-minded kits and ways of building crawlers to even consider modifying a T4. Write me a message if you'd like more help.
unimog=FAIL!

so its been 8months since the last post. Are you going to answer what kind of motor your using? How about more specifically, is it a sensored motor?
s14slide 2 years ago
Must have missed that question. (Usually I'm very good about answering everything)
Most of the time I use brushed motors that are 45-55 turns. Lately I prefer Novak & Tekin.
I've also been using Holmes Hobbies 7t Cobalt Puller motors. Those are just simply badass. (Make sure your drivetrain can handle the power)
If you prefer brushless, I like the Novak Goat sensored system. Lots of adjustability and easy programming.

AX10 wasn't available at the time this video was made. They are Tamiya TLT axles.
pigeonfarmboy 3 years ago
man what shocks fo you use on the bug and will they fit the ax10 rtr??? please respond 5
mjbooner 3 years ago
They are Traxxas Big Bore shocks. They will fit on an Axial rig but are a shorter shock shaft/body.
pigeonfarmboy 3 years ago
are they soft
mjbooner 3 years ago
Soft enough, you can change springs if needed though.

vanter6 4 years ago
Axial makes the AX-10 Scorpion kit and HPI makes the Wheely King 4x4 which needs some conversion for crawling. Check out rcpcrawlers[.]com

headgear102 5 years ago
Expect to spend $600+ for full hobby grade crawlers. Corners can be cut however if competing isn't your main goal.
