We can't really say he struggled against Margo since Margo's gloves were loaded. And we all know that he only struggled against Pacquiao because of Pacquiao's "AMAZING" stamina (which we all know where it comes from) lol.

I think, the foot speed of Manny will be the real factor in his fight against Cotto. Many would say its the hand speed, but the foot speed will be the problem for Cotto. They say, Cotto has the ability to neutralize faster opponents like what he did with Zab Judah, but Manny is different from Zab Judah and far more advanced. He moves in he moves out whenever he wants to. The only thing that the team Pacquiao should worry about is the STRONG PUNCH. That left hook to the body is really dangerous.

pac is fast, but cotto has fought fast opponents before (mosley, judah). his boxing intelligence makes up for any lack of speed that he might have (i really don't think he's all that slow).
also, i don't know who is more powerful, but to say that cotto doesn't have power would be ignorant. he's got heavy hands.
that being said, i'm filipino and a pac fan. i'm hoping he pulls it out.
I'm also hoping that the fight is gonna be a war.

i know cotto is a wicked body puncher but against pac, he wud find it difficult to get those body shots going coz pac is an elusive target and much smaller than cotto. quintana's body is long that's it was easier to get to that body.. while cotto is looking for PAC's body, PAC will throw 3-5 combinations from weird angles and get out of the way.. if cotto gets frustrated and attack carelessly, that myt be his downfalls as PAC is ALOT SMARTER NOW on sETTING UP his power shots.

Oscar has a better chin than Cotto, AND he's 4 inches taller, so Manny was punching up to him. Manny doesn't have to put Cotto to sleep. He's more than powerful enough to keep Cotto off him.
And if you want to talk draining, I guarantee you Pac finishes off Marquez if he's not draining himself to make 130. He was starving himself to make lightweight.

the switch? Are you forgetting that Pacman fights back? Going toe to toe and exchanging punches with Pacman has always been suicidal. Pacquiao is too accurate and too fast. Pacquiao and his camp wouldn't consider fighting Cotto if they weren't confident in winning. Pacquiao's management knows that waiting idle for Mayweather would handicap Pacman. Pacquiao's team is just trying to keep Pacman up to speed. That's what this fight is about. It's surely a test for Cotto.
