Wow the more things change... We just moved away from Linton after living there for 12 years. The Hixon sisters are still in Civitan selling the same fruit cake. Bob Thomas died. The Grill has not changed a bit. The downtown area looks the same. Some buildings lost to fire or collapse. There is a SuperWalmart now. We quit going to the parade a few years ago,always the same thing and too hot. The place is in a time warp and I'm glad to be gone.

I didn't find this documentary nostalgic so much as it is disturbing.

Disturbing because despite being over twenty years-old and returning there myself last year, it's as if the town has not evolved.

Wal-Mart, fast food restaurants and fat people who speak with weird accents.

What else is there to say?

Wow!! First of all, that is so old!!  I know some of the people in the this and it has really brought back so many great memories! I love it!!

Well I kinda like the aspect from a rump wrangler..........It kinda makes me feal like we still have values.....and this old video reflects some of the anti gay atmosphere that we have here.
