I sure didn't take this that message out from this... that scene just serves to remind me how bad those terrorists really are. I'm sure the producers aren't equating with the terrorists' views on clinton...
Clinton is Satan?! Christian-Zionist American propagandists can get so silly when they're trying to make people with other belief systems look bad. It's so charicatural it almost becomes parody. I just wonder how many Americans are actually educated and intelligent enough to figure that out for themselves these days...
No, I hadn't; I was unable to watch it, and still am, since the Left Wing ABC and Disney both supressed the 40 million dollar movie that would have sold for billions.
It I think of you is unfair to judge that movie not have seeing the whole thing at the time of this review. If you had watched the whole thing and then made your review you would have been more informed. They slandered Bush just as bad.
The comments by people here saying, "I didn't watch this crap" disturbs me. It is precisely the attitude that your political foes seem to take. In my opinon, you can only benefit from exposure to all points of view. If you only listen to the people you already agree with, then I'm afraid you will end up a very stupid and ignorant person. Not to mention extremely boring.
If we knew Osama was so bad, then why were republicans fixated on BJs in the Oval Office? What about shrub in the lead up to 9/11 if he was so dangerous?
Yup its called islamophobia ! its whats driving and justifying this war on teror soon the truth will come out that it was a Inside Job and muslims had nothing to do with 911 period.
more islamophobia to come have no doubt about it. maybe you should do a show on it ?
Are you really that ignorant? Do you not know that Satan exists in the Muslin religion as well? Why not look into these things before you make a fool of yourself in front of the entire youtube community.
HELP PREVENT DOMESTIC TYRANNY Call your Senators TODAY! Tell them "NO" on BILL 2453. The Cheney-Specter Bill (S. 2453) will legalize warrantless domestic spying PERMANENTLY! The Bill will also legalize warrantless eavesdropping of all communications As well as the data mining and profiling of ALL U.S. citizens. In effect, the legal concept of "Probable Cause" will be eliminated from the Constitution. WWW.BORDC.ORG
Ever heard of Eshalon? (Please pardon the poor spelling) Remember the FBI file scam? (500 Americans being investigated without warrants or probable cause in the 90's by Billy) Heard about Princess Di being wire tapped? That was late 90's was it not. Ya, Bush inveneted this sort of thing, man he is evil.
I didn't bother to watch this. I felt offended that ABC would lie and make up facts about something that changed our lives. IN fact I never watch anything on ABC at all.
Unfortunately, I watched the whole mess. What liberal media? Orwell is laughing in his grave. And you thought Fox News was the "Ministry of Information." ABC = Always Blame Clinton
I saw the 9-11 piece, and the Bush we got to see conveniently during intermisson. If america has any sense at all there will be a demand for an INDEPENDANT investigation into the actual events of 9-11 so our questions surrounding the explosions heard in the towers and the inconsistent reports and confiscated footage of the attack on the pentagon will be brought into light.
If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.
I live in the ghetto area here where i live.I watch people intimidate others all the time. That was definetly the same tactic without a seconds doubt. It worked to im sure. But only on the people still asleep.Good luck 2 them.
of course that's what you'd think. that's exactly what you are expected to think. propaganda in russia was obvious and totalitarian. today in america it's presented as fox news and another orange alert. when people are scared it's very difficult to make informed decisions. try watching all sides. then with a clear mind re-examine your stance. even if you still feel the same, your ability to do so is what our boys are laying their lives down for.
Ok, I'm lost. It looked to me terrorist were shooting at the screen not Rupert. For a group of ppl that discard everything this administration does as "fear" you all sound very afraid to me.
please don't excuse our determination as fear. this is all being played out like a textbook example of manipulation. bush and his gang had it in mind to move on saddam as soon as it could so that you could continue driving s.u.v.s. 911 couldn't have been more convienient to the plan. again, this isn't how i would ever want to see this. this is the way i see this after exploring ALL sides.
We're fond of the U.S. Constitution, and we're very VERY much afraid.
I recall Sarah Vowell(sp?) saying that she grieved at the first Bush2 inaugural, thinking [something like]: 'He's gonna be bad for the poor and women; he's gonna mess up the environment . . . I MARVEL now at my lack of imagination.'
No he's being sarcastic. Yes, that was the blatant intention of the clip, but overall the movie painted Clinton as neglegent and the cause of the terrorist attacks.
Arg, this one was kind of annoying. Again, I empathize with the no-budget recording, but the intro and the narration were annoying, especially the smirking tone in the narration. Also, I've heard that you can place a wet cloth in front of a microphone to prevent pops.
Re the smirking, I get negative comments however I modulate my tone, it seems. If it's not too "smirking" it's too "monotone." I'm obviously not a voiceover pro.
I've tried covering the mic, I've gone shopping for a new mic, but some opportunities have presented themselves that now justify an upgrade to Macbook pro. Stay tuned for higher production values in the coming weeks.
I like the point you made, though. I think it would have worked better if the clip- as short as it is- was longer than your commentary. It really speaks for itself- whose nutjob fantasy is it to portray terri'ists shooting a projector screen that has Clinton's image on it?
What about the scene of Clinton's image being shot at. A lot of the conservative (and I lean that way) bloggers are up in arms over the British film that is premised upon the assassination of GWB. The images I've seen from that movie aren't drastically different from that scene in this movie. I'm surprised the libs didn't jump on that scene more.
Well, the Clinton image thing is a historical perspective; the Bush assassination thing is kind of like 'Hey, somebody get up and go DO this...' There's a difference between telling the story of how something terrible happened and advocating someone to go do something terrible.
Yep, cause we all know that if a movie has something in it they must be advocating it. Sort of how ID4 advocates the destruction of the White House by laser weapons, how Forrest Gump advocates mooning the President, and of course how 12 Monkeys advocates time travel as a way to solve our problems.
The difference between the two is that Clinton's image being shot is not the most offensive thing in "Path to 9/11" to Clinton-supporting liberals, where as Bush being assassinated IS the most offensive thing to Bush-supporting conservatives in "Death of a President".
What the hell is a "docudrama" anyway? So it's a dramatic reinterpretation of real life events? I think there's a name for that kind of genre: fiction.
Clinton's not Satan, but he's surely one of his pups. Didn't have to watch TV to know that. But this goes back to Jimmy Carter, not really fair to lay it all on Bill.
We gave Stinger missles to the opponents of the communist Russian occupation of Afghanistan, not RPG-7's and AK's, nor french and German rifles, grenades, mortars, and artillery rounds. Those would have come from.... oh yes, the Russians, Germans, and french! Now tell me, how many Coalition aircraft have been shot down with Stinger missles?
I thought this film was really well done. It was intense and the cinematography was great. After watching all 4:20 hours, I didn't think it was biased at all towards anyone except maybe Richard Clarke. O'Neil and Clark were the heroes while both administrations were made out to be motivated only by politics and political correctness. I did think the movie followed the 911 commission report almost spot on and it's a lot easier to watch this movie than read that tome of a book.
LMAO...yeah from what I saw of it that was pretty much the whole message behind it. I didn't watch it all because it was way to overdramatic, and I don't agree with ABC making 9/11 into a made for TV movie. That and the whole press orgy having to do with 9/11 made me upset.
Again, glad i didn't watch it. Normally wouldn't be, but i think it would have made my head explode. And that would just be a mess for my roommate to clean up ... I couldn't do that to her.

Summary from ABC= All Bush* Channel:

- G.W. Bush, 9/13/01
"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."
- G.W. Bush, 3/13/02
"I am truly not that concerned about him."
